“An oldie but a goodie”
In a wonderful location with great river views and plenty of old world charm, the Stamford’s rooms are a good size, elegantly appointed, clean and comfortable. Excellent service from all staff, and the buffet breakfast is wonderful. Kids enjoyed the pool, with amazing river views.

“Sensational Stamford”
An outstanding hotel with beautiful rooms overlooking the Brisbane River. Very comfortable beds and full amenities. Staff are beyond amazing. Perfect location for all city attractions. Ferry just a short walk away, bus stop and taxis literally outside the door.

“Catching a Musical and living it up”
Great location, large spacious rooms, very clean and tidy. Loved the river and storey bridge views, despite the outside of the windows being slightly dirty. The onsite parking was expensive at $49/night. Bit Breakfast was an optional $1 p.p. Great value

“Great food. Poor service from admin staff”
Happy until I went to pay my dinner bill. Their system was down. I had a plane to catch. Reception could not take payment. Since then I have made 4 phone calls to settle the bill, most unsuccessful. Not answered, person who could help not there. Did not call me back. Finally gave credit card deta… more

“Good but not exceptional”
3+/5 rating for accommodation and food. My overall impression is of a good hotel that require improvements in some areas: toiletries, breakfast, minibar and beverage. A little adjustment will make it a perfect destination for couples. HNY
