Whenwe checked in we were upgraded to a king executive room, which was excellent, with great views over the city and parklands. We had to request extra pillows as the room boasted only two. Shower was over a bath, which was a bit of a challenge for us oldies, but we managed. Our room had a very comfortable chair and an office chair. but no ABC on the TV, bit annoying The menu in the Restaurant was a little disappointing, so a walk to the Alba, an associated property got us a decent meal. Breakfast has a good selection of continental items with yoghurts and fruit, cereal etc, but the hot ood was not hot, neither were the plates. This repeated over the three days of our stay. After being away for a few days we returned for our last night in Adelaide, to be sent to a tired room on the 2nd level, again only 2 pillows, no ABC and a very well used couch that sagged in every direction, same cold /hot breakfast. Staff were helpful to a point and I think were embarrassed by the lack of ABC, as a number of guests mentioned it. Would I stay again? only if I could be sure of a room on the 11th floor

A comfortable one night stay. If you have mobility limitations ask for an accessible room as the shower is over the bath in standard rooms which is quite high to lift your leg over. A comfortable one night stay. If you have mobility limitations ask for an accessible room as the shower is over the bath in standard rooms which is quite high to lift your leg over. The staff were very friendly and polite. The bed was comfy and room was a good size. Parking was easy. Breakfast was great with a nice selection and bean coffee to help yourself to. The bathroom is looking a little old but was clean. The single lounge chair in the room looked quite grotty. Close to tram stop to travel into the city centre. Would stay again

“Nice place”

Good beds ,only one choice of pillow,nice clean room,very helpful staff,average breakfast buffet,terrible choice of evenings meals in the restaurant,go elsewhere if you want decent food ,we were too tied ate there felt like we’d been ripped off,Chloe to free Adelaide trams

From the outside The Terrace looks good. Reception was polite and the staff generally were polite and cheerful. From the outside The Terrace looks good. Reception was polite and the staff generally were polite and cheerful. Our first room was on the 1st Floor with a walk in bathroom designed for wheelchair access. This room however was dark and overlooked a shed roof and into a car park. A second class room for people with a disability. We requested another room that had a better outlook and were given a room on the 10th Floor. There was no problem in getting the new room, however we were told our original room was the only room that did not have the shower over a bath. Anyone with mobility issues or who is a little unsteady on their feet knows how dangerous bath tubs can be. There wasn't any antiskid mats available for the bath and getting into the space to have a shower is problematic. The rooms lacked any additional pillows or blankets. The room was clean although the rooms look a little tired. I would not stay at The Terrace again simply because of the potentially dangerous shower situation.

Loved the location of this hotel. Stayed for a couple of nights. We had a room on a top floor so great views over ADL hills. Spacious room with a balcony and kitchen. Comfy bed and lovely clean bathroom. Only problem was hallway smelt of curry permanently which was a bit off putting. Breakfast was good with plenty of foods to choose from as well.
