We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel San Martin and should we return to San Rafael it would certainly be our choice. The Hotel for us had an excellent location being near restaurants, ATM’s, walking distance to various parks, especially so the Lovely Plaza San Martin, on the same street as an assortment of shops, next door to a small shop with a fantastic wine selection amongst other things, across the street from a most interesting Railway Museum, and NOT to be forgotten the truly wonderful folks working at the Reception Desk. Here I would single out two superb individuals in Carlos and Ricardo. What an asset to have these two young men on staff.  I did take a dip in the refreshing cool water of the small indoor pool. The Spa is adjacent to the pool but For Me when in Argentina that denotes Thermal Water. The one negative point for me...well they say Perfection is not of this world .... is the flakey WiFi. While they have it divided into various zones our Second Floor Location was difficult to connect and when connected would drop the connection.  No excuse for this and the Weak Security Is easily fixed, switch to P2. To end on a Very Positive Note, one that does indicate how so very well they treat their Guest, is that the Office Manager offered to drive us to the bus terminal in her car for our late night bus to Neuquen. Really how many Hotels show their courtesy in this manner.

..don’t keep your distance... Yes a return as promised and first , thank you to Carlos and Eduardo and the lovely lady from the office, who remembered us and the warm greeting. It was so very nice to return and enjoy this lovely space of your hotel. Now I have a secret to reveal, this visit I took the time to walk about the Huge area that constitutes the Spa. Wow .. and I thought it was just the two pools. Fantastic areas , steam rooms, massage tables of all sort, et. Cetera, next ‘Canadian winter’ we will participate. So sorry to see the Restaurant portion, i e evening meals no longer in play, hopefully it will have changed though there are lots of other options available for folks. Thank you for the lovely room you assigned us and look forward to another return. Don't cry for me, Argentina The truth is, I never left you.

Decent hotel, on center street San Martin, close to restaurants Friendly staff and very helpful Pictures on the website are better than reality Not everywhere 100pct clean, but room was ok , good bed and shower although leaking cranes Definitely needed the airco Didnt try the swimming pool, only… more

Breakfast was great

“Convenient option”

This is not a great, great hotel. It is well located and does offer a very good breakfast. Staff is very kind. A reasonable option for a business trip in that city. The city itself offers some interesting options with the opportunity to visit different wineries.
