Excellent service!!!!!!! 10/10 the attention to detail from the staff was incredible. Beautiful property. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. If you have been thinking of visiting, please do! Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff for making our time here memorable!

Magnificent views of the Iguazu falls from my room....even the bathroom. Very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and evening dining. Loved the swimming pool infinity edge with view of the falls. Magnificent views of the Iguazu falls from my room....even the bathroom. Very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and evening dining. Loved the swimming pool infinity edge with view of the falls. Easy walk out to the National Park to explore the paths along the falls. All staff were friendly and helpful. Bookcase of novels to share was a bonus especially as books in English not easy to source when travelling in Argentina.So glad I stayed here to soak in the tropical jungle song and watch the owls nesting in the grounds.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Iguazu Falls. Location is adjacent to the park. Our room overlooked the falls and it was a great way to see it at sunrise and sunset. I would suggest getting to the Devils Throat first thing in the morning as we were able to get great phone without the crowds. (Which lasted about 10 minutes) While there take the boat adventure which takes you up into the falls and gives you an up close look at them. You’ll get soaked but it’s all part of the adventure. The upper loop is also worth the walk and will give you a different perspective of the falls. The hotel has a great wine shop and pool to spend an afternoon.

We stayed here after staying at the Belmond and it just can’t hold a candle to that hotel service wise. What was shocking was that for two hotels that we paid similar amounts for the rooms, the prices of everything at this hotel were significantly higher at the Melia than at the Belmond. The problem with that was the food was much better at the Belmond as well. Also I prefer to pay three dollars for a Coke Zero vs eight dollars. The servers were also much more limited in their English although it was fine if you knew rudimentary Spanish. The common areas look like they got an upgrade when they hotel was rebranded as a Melia but the rooms not so much. They are clean enough but lack any warmth. The hallways feel a bit like a cruise ship and smell musty from the humidity. They almost try to cover it up by the elevators with some diffusers or something. The curtains are also not great and led to some early morning wakeups. The pool is beautiful. While some of the tiles were starting to come a bit loss it’s hard to complain about something that large and with those views. In the morning it was easy to get chairs because everyone is out but it got harder in the afternoon when new people arrive and others return from the falls. The location is great. You can beat people to the falls if you just walk ahead of the first train. You are also perfectly setup for the lower or upper falls trails and can do all of these on your own. We saw a majestic toucan at the lower falls early in the morning. There are also owls that live at the hotel by the pool. The real reason to stay here though is the rooftop bar. We went up there for a drink, the best view of the falls every night at sunset (even though sunset is not over the falls at this time). The monkeys are everywhere at sunset. Climbing the balconies, stealing food from the rooftop bar and they really go into the rooms and take the minibar stuff if you leave the door unlocked. These nights will be an amazing memory and the main reason to stay at the hotel.
