“Sheraton Buenos Aires . Great experience”

A really excellent experience. Nice hotel with a a very good bar, restaurant, pool and gym The service was also very good. A bit crowded , but excellent location. We enjoyed a romantic week end with my wife. We enjoyed the food, drinks and the service. Totally recomendable

We stayed at this hotel for what ended up being 5 nights and overall had a good experience. Our room was not overly fancy, but was comfortable enough, with a large bathroom and plenty of space for two people. Our window overlooked the park next door and its Torre Monumental, and was high enough that we could see nice views of the city and the river. The hotel wasn't really near most of the attractions or downtown, but it was a quick walk across the park to the main (Retiro) train and subway station. I definitely recommend using the subway where possible, it was clean and safe, and the cost per trip (around 30 cents US) was unbeatable. As Marriott Platinum members, we had access to the lounge area which had a nice array of finger foods in the afternoon/evening timeframe, and even worked for a light dinner on the night we were mostly stuck inside. During our stay, there was a country-wide strike, which resulted in our outgoing flight being canceled. Since there were a number of demonstrations and much was closed, we just stayed in the hotel that day, although it was fully open, including the pool, which was nice. The front desk and concierge were very understanding about adding an extra day onto our stay until we were able to schedule a new flight. Overall we thought the hotel was clean and comfortable and would be willing to stay here again on a future visit to the city.

“Love the pool!”

We stayed one night pre-cruise and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. The only slight downfall was the delay in having our room ready. We stayed one night pre-cruise and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. The only slight downfall was the delay in having our room ready. We stayed on a Friday night and arrived early due to a red-eye from the US. Our room wasn't ready before noon which is understandable, so they held our luggage. But after taking a walk and returning after 3, it was a bit frustrating to continue to wait for a room. However, once it was ready and we were able to use the pool, I was thrilled. The pool is on a rooftop, but don't be confused, it's not the roof of the hotel, it's just above a ground level. They have indoor and outdoor and they're both lovely. We swam at the end of our day and again in the morning in the indoor pool. There's also a full gym, locker room, sauna, showers. And the park across the street is nice. Public transportation is right across from the park. We used points, as Marriott members, so I can't speak to the price, but our points price was great! There was a small local fee, under $3 for taxes or something. As Marriott members, we were able to use the lounge and eat for free, and we were gifted a bottle of wine on arrival to our suite.
