“Placement”

Good place, in center of Buenos Aires. Close to restaurant and bar's. Ok breakfast, ok bar, but the bar is expensive if you chose to order importet alcohol. We missing the fridge on the room, it was taken out from there. We didn't have the swimming pool

I liked the area. The room was cleaned everyday, no complaint at all. Hotel meets the requirements for 3-stars. I liked the area. The room was cleaned everyday, no complaint at all. Hotel meets the requirements for 3-stars. Probably was 4-stars once-upon-a-time, as they advertise, but many things are missing like in-room coffee or mini-fridge. No turn-down service. No room service. Staff is friendly and helpful. Most furniture and carpet show signs of wear. Some areas need paint. Breakfast is basic though they have scrambled eggs. The breakfast area is only accessed by half-a-dozen steps from the 10th floor elevator.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks late April, early May, 2023 with a group for immersion into the Argentine Tango experience. The staff was helpful, kind, and friendly, especially the housecleaning and restaurant/breakfast staff. I accidentally left money in the room when I left Argentina, which was returned promptly to our tour guide. That was much appreciated. The hotel does have major maintenance issues, and I experienced a big one with a major break at the bottom of a tiny patio door that leaked water and mold into the room one morning about 5 days into my stay. I must say that the staff found me a new room immediately that was clean and MUCH better. I had no other problems after that. It is old and tired, the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired, especially the warm showers only. It certainly does have a great location, walking distance to many great restaurants, shopping, and of course, the Tango school.

“Outdated, tired, an average 3 stars hotel but great location”

I visited this hotel as a tour leader with 13 other guests, early February 2020. We were promised a 4 stars hotel but this hotel can be ranked as a 3 stars hotel to be completely renovated. The hotel has major maintenance issues, a lot of AC's in the rooms were not working, the water of the bathroom is never very hot, pipes around the toilet were leaking...The furniture is old and dated. The rooms are very tired and need to be renovated. We were surprised by the size of the bathroom seat: very very small as it was for kids. The staff is very nice and helpful especially Martin but they should really reconsider having Daniel at the reception. Daniel was rude and not helpful at all with me and all my group. Local bottled water could have been offered nicely to the guests in the rooms instead of charging them. It is not so costly for the hotel and guests really appreciate such gestures. Breakfast is basic. We were shocked when requiring a boiled egg, we were charged... What is really good about this hotel is it's location, very centrally located with a lot of restaurants and cafes around and a walking distance from different malls.

The room was reasonable with a few notable, yet minor, maintenance issues (the pipes around the toilet were leaking), but overall the price was good. Note if you booking this online they use an inflated exchange rate to convert a US dollar transaction back to pesos, which is in their favor and milk you for another 5-8%. The have bottled water in the room but Evian for US$5 a small bottle. The location is pretty good, being about a 4-5 block walk from the Florida mall. The steak restaurant across the road, Remolinos, is highly recommended. Try the bife de chorizo or the ojo.
