“Basic but fit for purpose.”

There is no doubt this place is basic and in need of a freshen up but it works well as a place to rest when skiing. If you want luxury, this is not for you. There is no doubt this place is basic and in need of a freshen up but it works well as a place to rest when skiing. If you want luxury, this is not for you. Mouldy shower curtain, badly hanging main curtains (hanging off), broken microwave which wouldn't pass a normal electrical test in my opinion and cigarette burns evident on the sofa bed. Obviously hadn't been cleaned properly as we found items under bed from previous visitors. Good news, plenty of hot water and warm room with very helpful staff who even let us borrow the phone to make a meal reservation.

I was been in here and in Lake Placid apartments already and both are very similar and in the same type of apartments. Not better not worse. Frequently by young people in groups so, it's noisy always. The ski boots and skis stays with you inside the apartment so, every time the commons floors, lift and lobbies are wet. In the rush hours (morning and after tracks closes) there are always lots of noisy too because of the ski boots walking all over the place and always many people. The apartment kitchen is enough equipped. Nothing special. Like the apartment. Nothing special but enough for some days. The Ka2 employees i have to speak or deal with are not very friendly . They don't smile and they are not nice people. Seems like they are always angry ... like if you own them something - always. Puffff..... But you don't go Pas De La Casa because of them so be ready and ignore them. Ka2 apartments are not very close to the tracks. One street more far away than Lake Placid by walking. 400 or 500 mts ?! But you can get a shortcut. Nearby (100 mts down the street or less) , near a small coffee in your right side with view to the tracks, there is an entrance to the tracks directly from there and so you can put your skis and downhill until the beginning of the tracks. You can do the same at the end of the days. Stop there and walk 100 mts to Ka2. No restaurant or bar in Ka2 onsite but there are lots of restaurants and coffees and shops nearby walking. You don't need anymore the car. To park the car is difficult but it is a general problem in Pas De La Casa during ski season (at least).
