Arenal den Castell

A holiday under the Menorcan sun

A charming coastal spot in the Mediterranean Sea, Arenal den Castell is one of the most beautiful places in the northern Menorcan coast; a quiet refuge where nature, tradition and history offer the visitor an unforgettable experience. Its calm, half moon shaped beach, awarded with a Blue Flag, its landscape chiseled by the Tramuntana; small leisure boats anchored near the shore, small whitewashed houses hanging from the hillside… a most pleasant view that attracts visitors from all around the world. At only a few kilometres, you can practice your swing at the Son Parc Golf course.

A family beach near the city, its deep turquoise shallow water, makes it the perfect playing spot for children. Very near Arenal den Castell you will find Es Mercadal and Monte Toro, the highest mountain on the island, 350 metres high, from where you can enjoy one of the best views of Menorca. A visit to Alaior is a must; a beautiful village where you can see the art of making ice cream, the famous pool skimmers and their delicious, internationally known cheese (Coinga); the Adaia Bay where you will find a lively marina and excellent gastronomic offers.
