Capadocia

Historical wonder

Situated between the provinces of Nevsehir, Aksaray, Nigde and Kayseri we find Capadocia, one of the most “unearthly” places on our planet. In this region of the centre of Anatolia, natural phenomena and volcanoes have caused a singular geological orography with unique rock formations; visit also the ancient cave art churches, underground cities and ruins of prehistoric villages left by the Hittites and later one the Byzantine Christians. Capadocia offers the visitor a wide range of activities and secrets to be discovered.

From Göreme, an ochre coloured village surrounded by epic lunar valleys, where you can visit the frescos of the Open-Air Museum all the way to the valley of Ihlara, considered one of the most beautiful routes in the area which ends at the Uchisar castle from where you can admire the surreal rocky landscape. For those who like to blend with the autochthonous wildlife and plantlife, visit the National Park of Ala Daglar ‘s waterfalls and trails horseback riding or take one of the daily hot air balloon excursions, an unforgettable experience.
