Bahía de Alcudia

Enjoy life

Alcudia's beach is one of the longest and best equipped beaches of Mallorca. It will make you wish never to go back home. The charming medieval city and the lively marina are connected by the busy promenade. In this historical enclave, visitors will find all that they need to enjoy a well-deserved holiday by the Mediterranean Sea. Water sports, tropical-esque beach bars, delightful terraces, restaurants with a sea view, shops, Wi-Fi  at the beach, golf courses , a busy night life... The beach is a safe place for children to bathe because of its calm, shallow water and sandy bottom.

Alcudia is a land of history, having been conquered in the past by the Romans and the Vandals. Nowadays the marina is full of luxury yachts, catamarans, sailing boats and tourists from around the world windsurfing and ski riding. In Alcudia you may discover countless charming hideouts. The fortified city is actually the only one left in Mallorca and it's worthwhile discovering all of its interesting historic sites such as churches and roman remains. Strolling around the stone paved streets is always a pleasant experience. The inviting pedestrian zone, the lively and diverse flea market, the Arabic district, the famous Pollentia remains and the roman theatre are only some of the enchanting sites you will find in Alcudia

The magic creek “Ses Fonts Ufanes”

Not far from the chapel of “Sant Miquel”, in the village of Campanet, nearly every year a unique hydrological phenomenon occurs. In Rainy autumns and winters, as if by magic, incredible fountains of water flow out of the ground at the Finca Gabellí, they can reach a volume of 100.00 liters per second. They are the known as “Ses Fonts Ufanes”. This interesting phenomenon, which has been classified as a Natural Monument by the local Baleares Government is as impressive as difficult to see, as this only happens three to seven times a year, when sufficient water has been accumulated in the peak of Puig Tomir and surroundings.  For this reason, every time this wonder occurs, many spectators and excursionists visit the site to take photographs.
