Gozo

Pleasure of the senses

The moment you step on the island you will feel Malta's little sister's charm: Gozo is much greener, steepr and calmer. In the centre of the island you will find tiny Victoria, a precious citadel with incredible views towards the plains that surround it and extend down to the sea.

The landscape is spotted with Barroque churches and ancient country houses built with stone. By foot, by bicycle or on a horse the wide network of paths is the best way to get to know each and every one of the island's corners such as the Calypso Cave, home to the legendary nymph, or the oldest temples in the world like Ggantija. Stop to rest and taste the typical Fenekata made with rabbit meat.

The coastline made by the Mediterranean is a natural show, especially the Ta' cenc and Dwejra cliffs or Blue Window, a 40 metre high, stone arch. Get lost in one of the countless beaches and don't forget the ocean floor. Gozo is the perfect place for diving.
