Trabzon, or as it is most commonly known Trebizond, is a city in the north east coast of the Black Sea. It is the beginning of the Iranian transit route and the most important and largest port in the Black Sea. Trabzon has many touristic attractions, some of them from the ancient empires of the region. The most important are: Ayasofya Museum, The Church, The Gulbahar Hatun Mosque, The Hatip and Iskender Pasha Mosques, dated on the sixteenth century are very worth seeing.
