Opunohu Bay (Tahiti)

Opunohu Bay is located in the Island of Moorea (Tahiti) about 20 miles west of Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. To the south of the island, we can find Mt. Nuku Hiva (Marquesas Islands)

Nuku Hiva is the largest island in the French Polynesian Marquises archipelago. It is known for it's 550 meters Ahuii waterfall in the Hakaui Valley. It's amazing beauty goes from the waters to the mountains. The coast is very different from the inland, from a regular coastline in the west to a deep bay to the north, that take you to deeps valleys in the interior. In the south of the island there are a few bays. The inhabitants of the island live in Taiohae, Taipivai, Hatiheu, Aakapa, Pua Houmi, Anaho and Hakaui. Taiohae is the administrative , economical, educational and health centre of the Marquesas Islands. the bay of Taiohae has shape of anfitheatre and the remains of a volcanic crater. The valley is full of Tiki gods stone, ritual places and sculptures. The island offers beautiful places to go diving.

San Diego is a large coastal city in California. Located on the Pacific Ocean in Southern California, it is home to 1.3 million citizens and is the second-largest city in the state. San Diego is home to the Pacific Fleet of the United States Navy.
