Lisbon

The city of Lisbon is rich in architecture; Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Baroque, Modern and Postmodern constructions can be found all over Lisbon. The city is also crossed by historical boulevards and monuments along the main thoroughfares, particularly in the upper districts. There are several substantial museums one can visit in the city. In addition, the mosaic Portuguese Pavement was born in Lisbon, in the mid-1800s. The art has since spread to the rest of the Portuguese Speaking world. The city remains one of the most expansive examples of the technique, nearly all walkways and even many streets being created and maintained in this style.

Funchal (Madeira)

The city´s name comes from the abundance of fennel (funcho) found on the island. It was an important shipping center during the 15th-17th centuries. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal. It is a modern, cosmopolitan, rejuvenated city, well known for its many top class restaurants, stunning new 4 & 5 star hotels and warm climate all year round. The city itself is nestled in a great natural amphitheatre, facing the blue Atlantic with a backdrop of dramatic mountains. It is located in the stunning south of Madeira, on it’s sunniest coast amidst banana plantations and wonderful gardens. Funchal has also for many years been one of the Atlantic Cruise-ship’s main ports of call, with the Liner harbour right in the middle of the town. Once ashore, the cafés, restaurants and history that mark this famed capital are just a stroll away. Tourists in Funchal can also enjoy activities such as diving in the crystal-clear waters, surfing the waves, taking day excursions along the coast and through the eucalyptus smelling mountain woods.

Ponta Delgada (Azores)

ponta Delgada is the capital od the Azores Islands, a portuguese archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. The historical neighbourhood of Ponta Delgada is lcoated behind the Avenida do Infante dom Enrique, a large avenue with paved sidewalks in black and white that surrounds the port. The tangled streets are beautiful and inspired in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

Horta (Azores islands)

A hugely popular meeting point for intrepid yachties travelling across the mighty Atlantic Ocean, look out for swish private yachts as you cruise into Horta. It was also the favourite stopping-off point for 1930s transatlantic flying boats, as recorded in the fascinating Horta museum. Horta is the capital of Fayal, one of the smallest of the nine remote Azores islands which are 760 miles away from their parent country, Portugal. There is some superb scenery as you tour the island, discovering sheltered bays and hidden coves but, for the most breathtaking views, head for the huge volcanic crater, Caldera.

St. Johns (Newfoundland, Canada)

Newfoundland is a large Canadian island off the eastern coast of the North American, and the most poblated part of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The costal walk is one of the most beautiful, considered as paradise for walkers and sea lovers. The natural port, the hills, the colorful streets, the museums and the cultural life, make of this place a touristic destination of great interest.

Halifax (Canada)

The east coast of Canada is a very large and varied region, from the bustling excitement of Halifax to the picturesque and peaceful city of Saint John's, the eldest of Northamerica. Ecos of Europe reflect in the streets, and charming architecture. Bar Harbor (USA)

Bar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island in Hancock County, Maine, United States. Bar Harbor is a famous summer colony in the Down East region of Maine. It is home to the College of the Atlantic, Jackson Laboratory and Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratory (Salisbury Cove village). Bar Harbor is home to the largest parts of Acadia National Park, including Cadillac Mountain, the highest point within 25 miles of the coastline of the Eastern United States.

It is a very city nice to walk through and has a public transport system which is excellent and easy to use, something that helps tourists to explore the city.

Newport (USA)

The city of Newport is found in the Atlantic Ocean and outstands for the luxurious mansions, the virgin beaches and the incredible views to the ocean.The water, the beaches and the dunes that surround it, although there is probably one of the main reasons of the popularity of the VIPs and a unique atmosphere.
