The Cape Liberty Cruise Port, sometimes called Port Liberty, in Bayonne, New Jersey is one of three trans-Atlantic passenger terminals in Port of New York and New Jersey. Bayonne is a New Jersey city that sits just across the river from New York City. The Bayonne Bridge, which connects Bayonne with Staten Island, is one of the longest arched steel bridges in the world and is alone a sight worth seeing. The “Tear of Grief” monument is a 100-foot-tall sculpture with a long fissure down the middle, from which a teardrop hangs, given to the city by Russian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli.
