The second biggest town on Chile's Chiloe Island, Castro is a tiny gem located on the scenic coast. Visitors can enjoy the famous local cuisine, especially exotic meat and seafood dishes. Travelers can stroll through the local market, which offers a variety of textured native clothing, hand-crafted artwork, and unique souvenirs.
Caleta Tortel is a coastal village in Chile. It is located between the mouth of the Baker River the largest river in Chile and Baker Channel. The surrounding geography is rugged, formed by a number of islands, fjords, channels and estuaries.
One of the atractives in the national Park Alberto de Agostini is the Garibaldi Glaciar, located on the extreme south of the Chilean Antarctica. It is the third biggest national park in Chile. Various coastal glaciars and fjords are part of this park.
Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur Province, Argentina. It is commonly regarded as the southernmost city in the world. As a center of population, commerce, and culture, and as a town of significant size and importance. Ushuaia however clearly qualifies as a city. Ushuaia is located in a wide bay on the southern coast of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, bounded on the north by the Martial mountain range and on the south by the Beagle Channel.
