Motor Vessel Skorpios III will take you on the Kaweskar Route through Fjords and channels in this sea that is veritably peppered with Islands; where glaciers and volcanoes give shape to a land that remains untouched and where the legends and its pioneers come to life among the waves... this is the Skorpios territory in the Southern Ice Field of Chilean Patagonia

The Kaweskar Route on Motor Vessel Skorpios III covers 380 miles through untouched territory, including channels and fjords, sailing towards the Amalia, El Brujo, Bernal Glaciers and to the Calvo and MontaƱas Fjors in the Southern Ice Field. This Southern Ice Field is in the midst of Chilean Patagonian, with an approximate area of 13,900 km2 and an overall length of 350 kilometres from north to south, and gives birth to 48 glacier basins, which makes if the third most important freshwater reserve on the planet. This enormous mass of ice is the origin of the one of the biggest and spectacular glaciers of the southern hemisphere, like the Amalia Glacier and fjords like Calvo, with its waters full of floating multicoloured age-old icebergs.
