Manta, Quito (Ecuador)

Manta is a mid-sized city in Manabi Province, Ecuador. It is the second most populous city in the province. Its main economic activity is tuna fishing. Other economic activities include tourism and a chemical industry with products from cleaning supplies to oils and margarine. Manta possesses the largest seaport in Ecuador. Places to visit: the refurbished Playa Murciélago, is in the Malecón area; it features a scenic boardwalk, restaurants serving excellent seafood fresh out of the ocean, recreational sports, craft markets, bars and other places for fun and relaxation. The small town of Montecristi, with its colonial architecture, and well known for shopping the local crafts such as ceramics, wickerwork and Panama hats in a variety of shapes and colors.

Puntarenas (Costa Rica)

Puntarenas (Pointsands, from "punta arenas", or "sand point" in Spanish) is the capital and largest city in the province Puntarenas, Costa Rica, at the Pacific coast. The eponymous and oddly shaped province has its largest section in the South, far from the capital. Some 100,000 live in the city and close towns. With beaches on the Pacific Ocean, it also attracts many tourists, especially surfers. It is also a possible stopover point for the tourist destination Monteverde, to the northwest. Its port, Caldera, is one of the main ports in the country. Also, regularly scheduled ferries carry vehicles from Puntarenas to the Nicoya Peninsula.

Acajutla (El Salvador)

Acajutla is a seaport and municipality in Sonsonate Department, El Salvador. The town is located at the Pacific Coast of Central America and is El Salvador's principal seaport from which a large portion of the nation's exports of coffee, sugar, and balsam are shipped. The official language is Spanish. Events They celebrate their traditional parties between the last days of May and June 2 as the main day. One of the most important celebration is made between March and April when they celebrate the passion of Christ. In that day, people clean the roads and create decoratives images in the sand they bring from the beach, and at noon they begin the simulation of the passion from San Francisco de Asis church near Barrio La playa ending in the same location the next day in the early hours of the day. On October 24 they make celebrations of the fishermen, in honor of San Rafael Arcangel, a day that is not highly concurred by citizens that take a little trip by fishing boat.

Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala)

Puerto Quetzal is Guatemalas largest Pacific Ocean port. It is located in Escuintla department, alongside the city of Puerto San José.The area around Puerto Quetzal is supposed to have some of the nicest beaches in all of Guatemala. About three miles west is Balneario Chulamar, and three miles to the east is Balneario Likín, a popular Guatemalan resort town. Bird watching and surfing are also popular pastimes in and around Puerto Quetzal. ´There are various tours available that take passengers to La Antigua, Auto Safari Chapin zoo, La Reunion world class golf resort, and other various tour packages are offered specially created for cruise passengers. At the port there is a market selling lots of crafts and souvenir items for those who choose not to take any tours inland. There is also several bars, hammocks to relax in, a restaurant, and performances from Marimba bands. The nearest town, San Jose, is about a mile away. Cruise lines list this as the port for La Antigua Guatemala, which is approximately 90 minutes away by bus.

Huatulco (Mexico)

Surrounded by the Sierra Madre Mountains, Huatulco is billed as " Mexico's best kept secret". Virtually untouched, Huatulco's main attraction are its nine bays and thirty-six beaches, many of which are pristine, undeveloped and accessible only by boat. Travellers can explore and shop in the small communities of the Huatulco area, such as La Crucecita, Santa Cruz or old Santa Maria Huatulco. uxury resorts also provide a wide range of resteraunts and nightlife.

Acapulco (Mexico)

Acapulco is a major sea port in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Acapulco is also Mexico’s largest beach and balneario resorted city. The city is best known as one of Mexico´s oldest and most well-known beach resorts, which came into prominence in the 1950s as a getaway for Hollywood stars and millionaires. Acapulco is famous for its nightlife and still attracts many tourists. The main attractions of Acapulco are: Fort of San Diego, Zocalo, Cliff divers, the best views of Acapulco are from Barra de Coyuca and many of the best restaurants and night clubs are located in Las Brisas.

Manzanillo, Mexico

Manzanillo is a city, seat of Manzanillo municipality, in the Mexican state of Colima. The city, located on the Pacific Ocean, contains Mexico's busiest port that is responsible for handling cargo for the Mexico City area. Manzanillo has become one of the country's most important tourist resorts, and its excellent hotels and restaurants continue to meet the demands of both national and international tourism.The city is well known internationally for deep-sea fishing and the green flash phenomenon during sunsets, as well as the warm waters of the ocean. The city is a destination resort and has many hotels and self-contained resorts. Manzanillo is a popular cruise ship port of call. Many tourists go from their cruise ships on city tours. Excellent swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving is found in Santiago Bay, a reefs plentiful with fish are scattered throughout the bay.Manzanillo is known as the Sailfish Capital of the World. Manzanillo consists of two bays with crescent-shaped beaches, each about 4 miles in length. Bahía de Manzanillo is closer to downtown and is the older tourist section. Cabo San Lucas (Mexico)

Cabo San Lucas is a modern city with natural tourist attractions and interesting nightlife. It is located in the southern tip of the peninsula of Baja California Sur and bathed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean. the climate is warm. On the coast strong currents cause the erosion of rocks form rocky arches and cliffs that are the principal touristic attraction. From those formations stands out The Arch and Finistere, where the Pacific finds the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez. The region has a shelter for several species of marine life near a deep canyon that opens off the coast. You can also find here a port dedicated to coastal fisheries. Industrial development because this activity was boosted by the establishment of a packing of seafood. San Lucas has become in the favourite touristic spot due to it's extensive beaches and it's beautiful coastline. Fishermen recognize it as an exceptional place because the capture unique specimens can be captured. From the golf courses near the sea, at the same time as you can practice that sport, you will se the migration of the whales that on their journey pass very near the coast. San Diego is home to the Pacific Fleet of the United States Navy.
