Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia. It is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans. Vukovar is a city located in the eastern Croatia. It is the principal river port and it is found on the confluence betweenthe River Vuka and the Danube. Vulovar was devastated during the war. Between the buildings in the city we can find, all wounded due to the war, the most atractive are the Eltz Mansion, some barroque houses in the town centre, the Franciscan monastery, the catholic church of St. James, the orthodox church of St. Nicolas and the birth place of Lavoslav Ruzicka, Nobel price winner.
