The festival remembers the battle of Mohacs, commanded by the young King Louis II of Hungary. Lasting 6 days, the celebration features Busos, people wearing traditional masks, and includes folk music, masquerades, parades and dancing. Away from the festival, The Memorial Place of Mohács, the Grand Church, and the Kanizsai Dorottya Museum are popular attractions for visitors.
