Potsdam (Germany)

Potsdam is a german city located near Berlin, besides the River Havel. The most popular attraction in potsdam is the Sanssouci Park. The park has many beautiful buildings: the Palace os Sanssouci, the Palace of the Orangerie, the New Palace of potsdam, the Palace of Charlottenhof, the roman thermal baths, and the China tea house. The historical centre of Potsdam is the antique market. To the north of this square we can find the French oval church. Another monument in Potsdam is the Dutch quarter, a group of buildings unique in Europe, with at least 150 houses constructed in red brick in a dutch style. We can also find a Russian colony named Alexandrowka, a small neighbourhood with russian styles. To the east of this neighbourhood we find a garden, the New Garden. Another interesting area in Potsdam is Babelsberg, a neighbourhood to the east of the centre, includes the Babelsberg Palace and the Einstein Tower. They are many parks in Potsdam, most of the included as World Heritage by UNESCO.
