Alesund is a town and municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre, and the center of the Alesund Region. It is a sea port, and is noted for its unique concentration of Art Nouveau architecture. The town of Alesund is the administrative centre of Alesund Municipality, as well as the principal shipping town of the Sunnmøre district The Norwegian Centre of Art Nouvea Architecture, Jugendstilsenteret, is situated in Alesund. Vega Archipelago is a group of islands in the Norwegian Sea belonging to the municipality of Vega. Since 2004, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This arhipelago of around 6,500 small islands in Nordland county, just south of the Arctic circle, surrounds the main island of Vega and has been inhabited since the Stone Age. The archipelago is an important Bird Area and we can find populations of Greylag and Barnacle Geese, Common Eiders, Common Loons, Great Cormorants, European Shags, White-tailed Eagles, Purple Sandpipers and Black Guillemots.

Longyearbyen is a small town located in the island of Spitsbergen, Svalbard archipelago, Norway. This archipelago was formed millions of years ago and it´s environment is unique. Mostly covered by glaciers and colorful flora. There is also plenty of animal life around: walrus, seals, polar bears and whales can be found on the coast. You can find plenty of cultural activities in Longyearbyen, specially during weekend when the town is visited by musicians and artists and you can find many exhibitions, concerts and other special events. Some of the places you can visit in this town are: the Svalbard Gallery, the Svalbard Museum and the Spitsbergen Airship Museum. You can also practice some sports such as hiking, dog-sledding, kayaking and snowmobile safaris.
