Torshavn is a big commercial city on the east side of the isle of Streme. Outstands for its nature and richness in historical monuments. A place to visit is the monastery of Munkastovan, a building that seems very heavy, built in the 15th century. In the historical museum, the outdoor museum called Kurdalsvegur. The theatre and music lovers will be able to see the nordic House Cultural Centre, where clasical music concerts are given, theatrical performances and artistic exhibitions.
