Copenhagen

Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and its most populous city with a number of bridges and tunnels connect the parts of the city together, and the cityscape is characterized by promenades, waterfronts, bars with terraces and artists busking on the streets. Skagen (Denmark)

Skagen is a small touristic city where the main activity is fishing. A picturesque place that outstands for it's low yellow coloured houses with red tiled roofs. A wellknown time of the year in Skagen is the festivity or celebration on the night of Saint John (Sankt Hans Aften) in the beach where bonfires are it and songs are sung around them.

Kirkwall (Orkney islands)

Kirkwall is the largest town and capital of the Orkney Islands archipelago, 10 miles off the north coast of Scotland. Founded around 1035, the City and Royal Burgh of Kirkwall is the capital and administrative centre of Orkney. The name comes from the Old Norse, which means church-bay and refers to a church older than the present day Cathedral. Some of the places you can visit are the Bishop's Palace & Earl's Palace, Highland Park Distillery, the Orkney Museum and St. Magnus Cathedral.

Aberdeen (Scotland)

Scotland's third-largest city is famous for its gleaming granite skyline and rich maritime history. You can choose from excellent museums, spend the day in one of the few cities in Britain with a proper sandy beach, or pay a visit to one of Aberdeen's famous whiskey distilleries.

Dover

Today Dover is a major port town facing into the English Channel and the second busiest cruise port in the UK. What makes Dover so special is its impressive location with miles of beautiful, un-spoilt coastline and its internationally famous White Cliffs dominated by Dover Castle, known throughout the world. Dover is the town in Kent which is geographically closest to the continent and, as the world´s busiest ferry port, many justifiably describe as ´the gateway to England´. The cliffs are popular with tourists and offer the opportunity for wonderful walks and superb views out towards the English Channel. Or you may simply choose to simply gaze at them from the beach.

Portsmouth

Portsmouthis a dynamic and vibrant waterfront city and the birthplace of Charles Dickens. With a maritime heritage, this port offers great attractions, museums and galleries, unique shopping destinations, great places to eat and lots of things to do such as live music venues, contemporary art galleries, two cathedrals, a diverse literary heritage, nightlife, festivals and countless events throughout the year. Don't miss the Southsea Castle, one of King Henry VIII's most famous fortifications and the modern emblem of Portsmouth. London is only 75 miles away.

Isle of Portland

Swim under the great natural arch of Durdle Door, which juts out imposingly towards the sea and is approximately 140 million years old. Breathe in the salty sea air, of Weymouth beach, savour a delicious dish of fish and French fries, and snap photos of the coastline as you stroll along the boardwalk that runs along the curve of this beach. At Corfe Castle admire reenactments of battles taking place among medieval ruins and learn about the role this fort played in the English Civil War.
