Ferries travel from here to the northern side of the strait.Çanakkale is the best point from where you can travel to the site of ancient Troy and the Gallipoli Battlefields. You can find an interesting archeological museum and the village of Behramkale with spectacular view over the Gulf from the Acropolis.
