The Cape Liberty Cruise Port, sometimes called Port Liberty, in Bayonne, New Jersey is one of three trans-Atlantic passenger terminals in Port of New York and New Jersey. The Bayonne Bridge, which connects Bayonne with Staten Island, is one of the longest arched steel bridges in the world and is alone a sight worth seeing. The “Tear of Grief” monument is a 100-foot-tall sculpture with a long fissure down the middle, from which a teardrop hangs, given to the city by Russian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli. The sculpture is located at Harbor View Park, which offers direct views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.
