Savona is a seaport in the northern Italian region of Liguria, capital of the Province of Savona, in the Riviera di Ponente on the Mediterranean Sea. Savona used to be one of the chief seats of the Italian iron industry, having ironworks and foundries, shipbuilding, railway workshops, engineering shops, and a brass foundry. One of the most celebrated former inhabitants of Savona was the navigator Christopher Columbus, who farmed land in the area while chronicling his journeys. 'Columbus's house', a cottage situated in the Savona hills, lay between vegetable crops and fruit trees. It is just one of many residences in Liguria associated with Columbus. Savona is always a favourite with visiting cruise passengers because of its natural beauty. Its main cruise terminal was updated in 2019.

Malaga (Spain)

Malaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol, or Empire of the Light, as Ortega y Gasset described it in a poem. You’ll find the Picasso Museum, which is devoted to the most influential artist of the twentieth century. He was born in the city in 1881. Puerto del Rosario is a town located in the northern part of the island of Fuerteventura and also its capital since 1835, in the province of Las Palmas (Canary Islands). Puerto del Rosario has a harbor front promenade, which has had recent enhancements. You will also find beautiful beaches, especially to the south of the capital. You will also be able to visit the museum which was once the home of the exiled poet Miguel de Unamuno, where you will find plenty of exhibitions, plays and concerts. Around the town you will find statues that form part of an open air exhibition and are produced during competitions that take place in the capital.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is one of the largest cities in Spain, and is the largest city in the Canary Islands The Port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria receives ships from all over the world. As a beach town, Las Palmas is specially popular for ocean-side activities. Catch a wave, grab your snorkel, or just soak up some sun. The south of the island is hot, dry, relatively arid and home to brash new resorts such as Playa del Inglés.
