Scuba diving, snorkeling and big game fishing are popular activities while the southern coast of Lifou is home to networks of stunning limestone caves that are a popular attraction with visitors along with the Bay of Wanda marine turtle park.

Port Vila is the capital and most populated city in Vanatu. The surroundings of Port Vila are ideal to make trips on sailboats or by ferry to the nearby islands or to practice snorkelling and diving. The sea is full of wrecked ships, most of them from the 19th centtury, like the sailboat Star of Russia, constructed by the same company as the Titanic, and is wrecked about 300 meters of the wharf.
