Maizuru, Japan

Situated on the coast of Maizuru Bay off the Sea of Japan, it is a city rich in nature and consists of two districts, Nishi-Maizuru and Higashi-Maizuru. Visitors have a variety of attractions from the cultural and historical to the, well.. enexpected. The Maizuru Hikiage Memorial Hall, Goro Sky Tower and Kongoin are just a few cultural and historical examples while the Museum of Redbrick, a museum dedicated to showcasing world bricks, firmly places itself in the unexpected category.

Hiroshima, Japan

Hiroshima has two places named Heritage Sites by the UNESCO: the Sanctuary Itsukushima in the Island of Miyajima abd the Peace Memorial of hiroshima.
