New Mangalore (India)

Mangalore is named after the goddess Mangaladevi and is the gateway to Karnataka. Mangalore is a blend of the new and the old. Hambantota (Sri Lanka)

Hambantota is a port city in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. Sea salt is also produced in the region around Hambantota. The water flows through channels into special evaporation basins, after which the salt crust is scraped off. Every morning the city's fish market is bustling with activity and shouldn't be missed.
