First class all the way I was a bit worried when we first booked the hotel because of some of the reviews. How wrong could I be the hotel was amazing the staff were absolutely fantastic especially Nesliham. And. Ramazam brilliant atmosphere food was to die for and the selection was really good. The Turkish night on Thursday was brilliant so much detail and effort well done to all involved. We’re already booking for next year .

Just back from our first venture to Turkey and it was a great one. We decided to take a trip to Turkey, I'd often been put off by the flight time then the possibility of a 2.5hr transfer to a resort but we found Side, which was a 50–55 minute private transfer through Resorthoppa and so looked for a hotel. The Side Star Park ticked all the boxes, so we booked it as its proximity to the beach and its own section, the walk to the Old Town, and the reviews in general and we're very glad we did. We arrived about 10pm, given a professional greeting and a bonus of a room upgrade as they felt the room we had booked wouldn't be big enough for ourselves and our son, so we were given a family room. A staff member took us to our room and took the bags and gave us some guidance of the room etc... which was lovely, and the restaurant was open for us with a few hot dishes to eat which was a bonus as we hadn't eaten since lunch time in the UK. The room was great and had a bedroom and the sitting room had been made up with beds, both rooms had a good-sized TV, and the bedroom has a good-sized balcony and the sun all afternoon... There is a stocked fridge with a selection of complimentary drinks which are restocked as we go on over the week, the safe is also complimentary and there were slippers as well... the bathroom was modern and had good quality products in it. You are given beach towels in a hotel tote bag in your room which is brilliant, you use them and changed them poolside between 17:00-18:00 each afternoon, again, this is complimentary. We found the dining to be very good throughout our stay. Don't expect a full English breakfast as you won't get one... There is a station where they make great omelettes, or fried eggs... a restocked eggy bread dish, pancake and waffle station, wide selection of fruits, pastries, yoghurts, plus breads, scrambled eggs, and continental sausages... The highlight was the beach bar I found on the second day they have a fresh cooking section at the beach bar to the side where the chef cooks fresh fish, and a meat selection, so one day maybe chicken kebabs etc... brilliant to have your food looking out to the sea. Evening meals had a good selection and the Turkish night was the highlight, all the staff dressed for the occasion, dining was by the pool, and it was fantastic… there were other theme nights like a Vegas night, and Indian night… The pool area was good with a small children's pool, there is a slide area but it’s tucked away at the back of the hotel and I never saw anyone using it, but it had 20 or so sun loungers but think the slide is only open twice a day. The staff I found to be excellent, always coming to you, getting bringing you drinks not sure what people were moaning about, everyone engaged us in English and were friendly and helpful through out, and we loved Tuncay who went out of his way to look after us. We spent most days at the beach, we had a couple of days where we had issues getting sunbeds, on the first a staff member took us to the sister hotels because a minute along the promenade at Side Star Beach hotel, but when we tried a few days later we were told we couldn’t go there but we then found a couple of sun beds at our beach that had become available. All in all, this was a great experience and I wouldn’t have a hesitation in recommending the hotel, it’s a good hotel, well staffed, cleaned all the time the cleaner was still cleaning public areas and toilets at midnight… good location 20 minute walk to the old town, a row of shops running to the beach, and on a Saturday a market about 10 minute walk from the hotel… and the management team were always visible, chatting to holidaymakers, checking on staff, that’s a good sign to me. Final note is the cats which live in the area, all well looked after by the locals, hotels, shop keepers and holidaymakers... there was a litter of kittens living by the childrens play area in the hotel...

“Incredible holiday, 5*”

We had such a fantastic time, cant fault this hotel. Excellent entertainment, the service was incredible, I wont single anyone out as they were all superb, treated like a king the whole holiday and made great friendships with some of the staff. Location is fantastic, walk into Side in 15 mins. Fab choice of food and drinks, spotlessly clean. Would recommend and would love to return. Thankyou all at SideStar Park

“Great holiday”

Lovely hotel and spotlessly clean. Pool is the best pool we’ve had on holiday the kids loved it. The hotel was predominantly German which we were un aware of before we arrived. Being there the start of June meant it was quiet around the pool and plenty of sunbeds, no ques in the restaurant. Lovel... more

Lovely hotel and spotlessly clean. Pool is the best pool we’ve had on holiday the kids loved it. The hotel was predominantly German which we were un aware of before we arrived. Being there the start of June meant it was quiet around the pool and plenty of sunbeds, no ques in the restaurant. Lovely kittens in the swing park that were so friendly and the kids spent lots of time with them. The pancakes made fresh between 3:30/4:30 every day were great. Ice lollies are only available for two hours per day. Mini bars is stocked up most days and rooms always tidied and beds made/ or changed when you ask. Only negatives were the entertainment at nights was quite limited and my children didn’t want to stay and watch which meant venturing out to shops most nights which are only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The main issue we had was the food choice, a lot of stew,casserole,vegetables and we did struggle to find something to eat apart from bread rolls, chips and pasta most nights.
