We had a lovely holiday at the Paloma Oceana. The staff work so hard to keep everything clean and tidy and were very friendly. The staff at the ala cartes were excellent and the terrace bar is lovely with delicious cocktails. The Wabi Sabi and Turkish ala cartes were really good, the beach bar one was a lovely setting and great staff but the food wasn’t that great. Book up the ala cartes quickly as we couldn’t get in any of them on the last night as the hotel started to get busy. One of the only negatives was the drink service in the buffet restaurant, even getting a glass of water was hard work. The staff work so hard in there clearing the tables and re- setting. I wasn’t keen on the setting and it didn’t feel like a relaxing place to have your evening meal, the food was great though, so much on offer. The hotel is situated near loads of shops, there are also bars and restaurants in walking distance. Definitely take a trip to Side old town it’s so pretty. There’s a cab rank opposite the hotel and it’s roughly 10 mins away, lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Book up your trips with your rep quickly. Unfortunately the sunbeds go quite early. Overall really good and a good location.

1. Food & drink is the best i've come across at an all inclusive. So much variety, offers something for everyone! Our daughter is a fussy one, and she aint really well each morning, lunch and evening. Breakfast is superb! 2. Staff - we didn't come across a single person from the moment we arrived, to the minute left who left a negative impression. Every time you thank someone for anything, you are met with 'you're welcome'. A real, genuinely nice team, with real smiles. 3. Cleanliness and standards are absolutely outstanding. Everywhere you look someone is cleaning, improving something, gardening, or just generally making the place better. The impression that has is one of a management team who absolutely want this to remain a top class hotel! 4. Location - in a real nice little town, not too far from Side, which is the most unreal place. The roman ruins are in my opinion better than Rome, the way they've been preserved and put on show is literally unbelievable! 5. Entertainment team - faultless! Always trying to get people involved (without being too pushy as you usually find in turkey) keen without being in your face. Plenty of pool games, stuff to keep the kids busy, and evening entertainment is pretty good too. The Michael Jackson dance show last week was the best i've seen at any all inclusive! 6. Tipping - we didnt feel pressured in any way to give anyone a tip. We gave what we felt, to those we felt had the nicest impact on our holiday. Namely the guy who runs the piano bar most nights (cant think of his name), he is fantastic and always polite, the maid, and Emre the waiter who usually works in the outside dining area. Pools / beach area - plenty of space, you will need to be quite quick as the season goes on to get towels out. We found as our 10 days went on, it was getting a little more difficult to get a couple of beds with a brolley. No need to get up mental early though, just take a couple of towels when you go for breakfast. All in all this is a superb hotel, one i'm trying to get my wife's family to come to next year. Thank you to every person we came across, it was amazing!

On the last day of my holiday and had the best holiday ever here. We are a family of four and came along with another family of four. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The place is beautiful and immaculately clean. Room- we stayed in the main building. The rooms are huge, very modern and lots of cupboard space. The mini bar is stocked every day, the room cleaned and towels changed daily. Pools - there are three pool areas. We preferred the main pool down near the beach as they had music, pool games etc. the kids loved the slide pool too. Water park- the hotel runs a free shuttle bus to its sister hotels water park. Either 10 to 12.30 or 2.30 to 5. The water park is pretty new and everything is very clean. The kids loved it. Restaurants - the food was beautiful, good quality and lots of choice. There is a great pizzeria at the pool and a restaurant on tbe beach, both great for lunches. We tried all three Alicante restaurants that were included. Our favourite was wabi sabi, followed by Quentine, and the avare was lovely but not to our taste. Bars - you can get Smirnoff vodka, gordens gin etc. the cocktails were lovely. The best bar for nice drinks and great service was the lounge bar (above the main restaurant), the drinks were different class up there and lovely glasses etc. they always played a jazz singer also. The piano bar was a lovely cool and had a pianist in the evening. Entertainment - we were blown away with the entertainment and the hotel seems to go all out on their shows. Our favs were the stunt show and the circus. There is a great kids club and teenage club that’s great areas to go at the hottest part of the day. There was always pool games and activities. They had a day with big inflatables, a day with water bikes etc. I Tips - we went a boat ride to see turtles and didn’t see any. However if you turn right and walk down the beach front for 5/10 mins, there is a little stream that goes into the see. There is loads of turtles in there. Take boiled eggs and you can feed them and they come right onto the shore.
