This was my first holiday as a adult and my childrens first abroad holiday! We went all inclusive from the 3rd july untill today the 10th july with 8 off us and 3 different rooms the staff are all so lovely especially memhet and his wife, they are always so happy and loves a good laugh,, they are both great with the children. The rooms are all very spacious, with mini kitchens, the cleaners come in daily however if you dont want them to clean the room just tell them and they will still leave clean towels and tissue if needed, the aircon in the rooms are amazing and work so well the hotel itself all over is very very clean! The food is all lovely especially the salads, there was something for the kids to eat every meal time, chips, nuggets, pizza ect On site is a hairdressers, a tattoo shop which you have to put a deposit down and book your time slot and then the tattoo artists come in (i had 2 lovely tattoos, my husband had 1 and my brother had a massive lion on his arm which is incredible) they have a spa room, a play room for the kids, and a onsite shop! There are 3 pools one for the small children, a main one and then a pool with slides which are switched on twice a day, one thing i would say about the pools is leave ur towels out overnight or go down super early to put them out otherwise u wont get a seat especially if theres alot of you, the drinks are abit weak but was all nice, and you get wine included which isnt on the weak side, theres darts at 2 and 4oclock which my husband loved, the evening entertainment is great and always something for the children. The location is great and has lots of shops within walking distance including a massive market on a saturday and monday! The only downfall to this holiday i found was there is no all inclusive ice cream but instead is replaced with slush puppies which i actually think is better. Please dont listen to all the bad reviews honestly its a lovely hotel we loved it that much we are booking 2 weeks for next year

Ah, so Catty Cats Garden Hotel I think is worthy of a 4 out of 5 all things considered, although was tempted to give it a strong 3 out of 5. We stayed there for 11 nights, room only. The room was spotless and with daily cleaning from the hotel cleaners, the cleaning of the communal areas was almost constant, it is a very clean hotel and we were also pleasantly surprised that aircon and the safe are included in the room price, we have been to many other budget hotels where this is the case. Some words of warning though, if you are not booking all inclusive, there is no bar that you can use (well I did ask for a bottle of beer, and they gave me the 200ml glass of beer they give to the all inclusive, and ripped me off 200 lira / £5 / 6 euros in the process). You are however, allowed to buy cans (not glass bottles) of effes from their shop (120 lira) to drink by the pool or what we just did, go to Muzzy's Corner that is 2 minutes walk away and bought a can for 75 lira. You can not buy any food there as a room only, and if you want to upgrade your room only to all inclusive, it was 80 euros a night, we worked out it would have been slightly cheaper to throw the room and rebook all inclusive. Pools, okay so there are two here, manned periodically by ONE life guard of whom I noted most of the time was either looking at his phone or chatting with hotel guests. What surprised me is that if you look at the reviews from last year (or just search for drowned, or drowning), there was an incident last year where a child drowned and had to be resuscitated. This is probably a lack of health and safety in Turkey in general, but you'd think the hotel would have learned from that incident. KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES. It is also worth noting that the pool foam party is dangerous, the pool is already quite deep (1.6 metres) and it is then filled so much foam that even if you are swimming you can not see the sky. It is worth noting that the slide they advertise is only switched on for a couple of hours a day, I think the timings are on the board. Some other things about the pool area, they do not remove towels that people leave overnight, which makes finding a sunbed difficult even if you are up early. Excursions: We lucked out because of the time we arrived, but like other budget hotels they will give you a "welcome package" and a meeting time, its just to sell you overpriced excursions before you have the opportunity to go to Tom Cruise , who will sell you 40 euro excursions for £25 without any haggling, he will also give you a beer while you are discussing! One last note, yes it is very close to a mosque, yes it may wake you up, yes you are in a muslim country . We found that after a few days it did not wake us up at 5:30am. If I come back to Side I would book Catty Cats again, but perhaps all inclusive. The people I spoke to who were all inclusive didn't have any major complaints apart from the drink sizes being too small (common), and none of the food is labeled.

Let me start by saying…no matter where you go you’ll read different reviews because everyone’s experiences and expectations are different..however please don’t listen to the bad ones from people who just like to moan…you get what you pay for..hotel was nice quaint and welcoming..and in a great location..rooms yes basic but plenty for what you need you only need to sleep and shower in it..unless your going on holidays to stay in your room.!!! The pool was clean and looked after the slides where good fun for the kids..life guard was always walking about both pools right up until 6pm..he jumped in to save a child so those reviews saying he’s too busy looking at girls shame on you he’s friendly always says hello and chats..and saves lives..hotel manager was very friendly always had a smile and a chat everytime he saw us..entertainment team where lovely so friendly and that’s all you need..was there lots and lots of entertainment no but again have you paid for 5 star stuff NO you haven’t..drinks where ok not lots and lots to choose from but still available including milkshakes and slushies..lots of different choices of food just unfortunately a family of fussy eaters so we did eat out a fair bit not because food was awful but because we like what we like..everything is in such good distance from the hotel so fab.!!! Ill defo be going back..!! Air con in all 3 rooms we had worked perfectly..
