It saddens me to be writing a partially negative review after having such a fabulous holiday. It was mine and my friends first time in Turkey, having booked a last minute cheap holiday in the sun, we really didn't know what to expect. Arriving at Cats Garden in early hours, we were greeted by Gengiz who worked the 12hr night shift, he was lovely and welcoming and helped us with our cases as we'd been given a room on the top floor and there's no lift. He was always lovely and went out of his way, many times, to help us out during our stay. Our room, for the price we paid was lovely, looked relatively newly refurbished, and was very clean. There was plenty of storage, soap and shower gel dispensers, the most powerful shower we've ever used, and a free safe in the wardrobe. The maids came in every day to make the beds etc and leave us our beautiful 'Swan' towels on the bed. Although I do believe the rooms in other parts of the hotel aren't so nice. The pool/sunbed areas were thoroughly cleaned evey morning, and kept clean throughout the day by a lovely elderly gentleman and I saw the pool water being tested. I know there's been negative comments about the food, but I loved it, and my friend always found something she liked, eventhough the selection had been scaled back, due to the hotel being a lot quieter, as end of season approached. I don't go on holiday to eat English food, but if you do, then you would struggle. Also the selection of soft drinks and alcohol was also more than adequate for the price we paid. The three young men, Umut (curly), Jacob and Sinan, in the bar and restaurant area, were lovely, polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Curly in particular has an amazingly friendly personality and has taught himself to speak really good English in the 7yrs he has worked there. His talents go far beyond Cats Garden, so it upset me to hear a more senior member of staff making negative comments about him, and insinuating that he wasn’t a good employee. The hairdressers is also really good and the couple that run it are so friendly and generous. But the rest of the staff weren't quite so nice, a bit of a mix of pervy, unfriendly and just a bit odd. I've seen another review mention a female being bitten by a male member of staff. I have no idea if this was about me, but it definitely happened to me. The person in question had bombarded me from the time I arrived with comments along the lines of, "you're beautiful", "do you like me?" and would constantly ask me if I was his 'Girlfriend'. He would also grab me and hug me a lot. But as this was what I had been told to expect coming to Turkey, I did kinda just accept it, and laughed it off. On our 4th evening it turned nasty, he called me over, and started saying the usual stuff. In a joky kind of way I told him I'm not stupid, I know he says the same things to lots of other  women, and I asked him how many girls/women he has the numbers of in his phone as he's always on it messaging someone or another. He didn’t like me saying that so he grabbed my arm, and bit it. I pulled away and said 'what do you think your doing' then as I turned to walk away he put his foot out and tried to trip me up. The next day he gave me and my friend evil stares all day, then approached us at dinner and asked if he'd done something wrong. I asked him to leave us in peace to finish our dinner, but he refused to go, so reluctantly we had to 'remind' him of what he'd done. He quite aggressively, and repeatedly, told my friend to "Shut up". Then later on admitted and laughed about what he'd done when I told another member of staff. For the rest of our holiday he went out of his way to make us feel uncomfortable whenever he was around, he would stare at us and make comments in Turkish to other staff members. I had originally contemplated a solo holiday, but after this experience I was so glad I went with a friend. If I'd been on my own I would probably have just flown home. It's a shame because we met some lovely people there, and putting the 'incident' aside had a fabulous holiday. If it wasn't for the actions of one person I would have happily written a 5 star review, and returned to the hotel in the future. But I'm afraid I would never set foot in there again. I did contemplate making a complaint whilst there, but I was worried that it might have negative repercussions on the rest of our holiday. Especially as it's a small family run hotel, and all of the staff seem to have a close bond.

Catty cats was a lovely clean hotel and the Pools where brilliant, Food was OK very little choice for Breakfast but lunch and Tea where adequate, View from room were very poor no scenery All bar and entertainment finished at 1030pm. Mainly male staff no female staff hardly, staff very Rude did not engage with guests very very Rude. Despite that we did enjoy our holiday but the hotel staff brought it down for us a little bit,I would not return back to this hotel
