“Amazing hotel”

Well I would like to thank all the staff for making this hotel everything it is . They are so lovely and friendly they are like one big family. The room was cleaned daily unless we said it's fine as the little one was asleep but the lovely lady gave us fresh towels and top ups. The food is amazing especially the BBQ every night. Great variety in restaurants and snack bars. Mini disco the kids loved and the entertainment was fab. We didn't mind it finished early as it ment could get the kids to bed early ready for a busy day. The staff work so hard and the place is kept very clean and tidy and the staff never stop and always have a smile on there face. Thank you all again for an amazing holiday

“Amazing”

We stayed here in August for 10nights! We arrived early hours of the morning and was welcomed my the reception staff that shown is where we could make a sandwich and get some soup and a bottle of water for our children. We stayed here in August for 10nights! We arrived early hours of the morning and was welcomed my the reception staff that shown is where we could make a sandwich and get some soup and a bottle of water for our children. All beds was made up and the room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is very clean the cleaners really do work really hard! The food is lovely and there was always something for our fussy 9yr old! We especially loved the Turkish theme night the food was delicious!The entertainment staff are amazing there are plenty of activities during the day for adults and children! The pools are clean! My two boys loved the slides!! The only negative is sunbeds and people putting towels on them and not returning until mid afternoon sometimes not at all, the life guard did take towels off sun beds if they aren't being used! All in all we had an amazing stay here and was sad to go home!!! Lovely hotel, lovely hard working staff!!!

Our stay at the Side resort has been fabulous so far. Just a quick idea for the reviewer who needs sugar free tonic at the bars… soda water or sparkling water as it’s called in the aqua pool area, is a sugar free alternative and very refreshing with ice and lemon. We have found all the staff to be very accommodating, most helpful, very happy to help and please. Our room is a family room and kept very clean and tidy, it’s a treat to come in and find the latest creation on the bed. Food is superb and restaurant staff very efficient. Entertainments team are wonderful and doing a great job catering for all. Photographers do a fantastic job if you want to take the time to have some special memories captured. They could not be faulted but beware they do take a lot of photographs and it is very hard to choose just a few if your budget says stop! All staff deserve a mention, reception, groundsmen, pool attendants, all cooks, cleaners, maintenance, shop assistance (sorry if I have missed any) you all work such long hour and are still smiling. I for one do not want this holiday to end could easily stay for another week, and would definitely come again without a second thought.

Myself and my girlfriend spent five days here in which it started off great with a warm welcome from reception, our luggage was taken up by another member of staff after we checked in. The room was nice and clean, good size and decent washroom with working air-con. The next morning we were able to get a sun lounger no issues, the bar staff were friendly and very welcoming there was a wide variety of cocktails and alcoholic drinks to choose from included in the all inclusive. The gym is average but has everything you need to get a workout in while on holiday. Booked the both of us in for a Turkish bath and massage, again the staff were friendly and the treatments were very good. Food was what you'd expect from an all inclusive package, wide variety with special options from the outside chefs. Entertainment at night was good with children's entertainment starting earlier and later more of an adult theme. The reps for the Hotel were great whether it was for water aerobics or events around the hotel, they always wanted to help wherever they could and always had a smile on their faces. Our maid for the room left our room in a lovely condition every time no issues here, also the photographer at the front of the hotel went above and beyond with our couples shoot to provide a album to a very high quality photographs. Last but not the least the hairdresser in the salon was lovely and both gave us a quality experience. Unfortunately, our fourth and fifth days were were tainted by the Management staff. The first incident my partner went to use the outside women's toilet and came across what seemed like a four maybe five year old girl who was in distressed on her own speaking a foreign language to the other guests around the toilet. She wouldn't leave the toilet nor put her clothes back on as she had a personal issue which could only have been resolved with her family member. Management were called multiple times by guests and bar staff as the little girl was clearly in a vulnerable situation but management didn't arrive to the scene for another 20 minutes leaving my girlfriend and other female guests looking for the family member around the pool area. I should mention that although there are smoking area and non-smoking areas it was very clear that vaping pretty much anywhere outside around the pool area was deemed fine and of no issue. We had asked two separate R reps whether it was OK to vape from which they said yes its fine and that most other guests do the same so we then felt it was fine to do so ourselves occasionally and discreetly. For one couple this just weren't the case and for some reason took offense to this when the were on the next sun lounges, we were constantly being stared at given dirty looks to the point of feeling agitated against. As we didn't know what their issue was we minded our own business and continued enjoying the day until we had the same member of management who was dealing with the little girls previously come up to us with a warning about vaping and said it was not permitted around the pool and sun lounge area. At this time it became clear what the issue was, the elder couple next to us had complained time and time again without having a face to face conversation about thier issues with us themselves. This not only caused a scene for me and my girlfriend but made other guests feel uncomfortable in the moment as he was aggressive and confrontational. Myself and my partner decided to take our things and leave rather than deal with this horrible guests behavior. After this occasion the same couple had two separate confrontations with other guests one being later on and the next day. Since the confrontation we were being stared at, pointed at, given horrible looks by the horrible couple also going as far as making gesture to other guests he didn't like. On our fifth and final day we sorted our things before check out which means we didn't come down to the pool till around 11:30AM, we came to the bar for a cocktail and a vape in the smoking area, I myself went to use the outside toilet area and left my partner at the table, out of no where the head manager of the hotel confronted my partner about an alleged assault on the couple and that the police were in the lobby waiting for me to be questioned and possibly taken down to the station. My partner explained that the accusations were false and that they had the wrong person but the manager was arrogant and didn't listen and insisted she was lying and asked the bar staff where I was. He later realised it was an incident with another guest that the couple had an issue with earlier on in the morning. These guests were later taken for questioning in the hotel library were the manager had the horrible guest being able to agitate the guest being questioned. The incident was resolved with Police statements being taken. From the experience I recognised that the older couple are yearly guests that spend an considerable amount of time here at the resort and so have become very clicky with management and are treated differently to other guests. It was very clear that other guests were upset with the how people were being treated but this didn't seem to matter as long as this particular couple were getting thier way. Our last two days might have been a little tainted from this our overall experience of the holiday was great, meeting nice people aswell. Definitely coming back to turkey just not to this resort.
