“A good holiday with a bitter aftertaste. ”

The hotel is good, well maintained, with good and helpful staff, but the reception is a tragedy, first we were accommodated in a building that is outside the complex across the street, although our voucher clearly said that we were in the main building and after the late check-in we spent there. We unpacked our luggage and after a conversation with our agent we found out that we were in the wrong building when booking, the difference between the two was about 170 Euro for early booking. The next morning I went to ask and they took me to another room for inspection, if I liked it, to change it for us without any compensation for the inconvenience of collecting and moving luggage. Just to say that we have 2 children of 2 years old. We had to pack our bags again in 10 minutes and move. In the evening I realized that I was missing the chargers for the phone and watch that I had used in the old room the night before, I went to the reception to ask. From there they sent the cleaner to check, but she had not found them. I personally closed the door and returned the chip to the reception when moving and there is no one but the staff (someone with a card) to enter the room and pick them up. They never found each other until the end of our vacation, even the receptionist came to tell me that if they hadn't found them, then they were gone. It's good that they had a safe, our belongings stayed there throughout the holiday, even the chargers lol. Otherwise, the pools are nice, the beach is pebbled and abruptly becomes deep.

This is a difficult review to write as it really is a tale of two halves. Firstly, the good and great: Entertainment staff were just lovely, as too were all bar staff who worked so so hard. Loved the food on the whole, always plenty to choose from and overall very good. Plenty of sunbeds throughout the day, with a selection of pools. Unfortunately, all pools were rammed with inflatables and feral kids hanging off the ladders and forcing some elderly people to attempt to exit the pools by hoisting themselves off the sides-not great. Now for the not so great.. the noise. The incessant stereo of music (different songs at the same time) all day. Jarring. I love music by the pool, but not a stereo combo of different songs at the same time. The waiting staff in the main restaurant, abrupt to the point of rude at times. It was very much unorganised chaos, lack of staff and seating to accommodate the guests. Really disappointing. No one would help find tables, just got shouted at by restaurant staff that it was too busy. Charming to witness and experience. Sunbeds, whilst always available were packed like sardines, not a comfortable experience. The absolute prize though has to be the Italian a la carte. Simply terrible, so bad it was funny. Seriously, do not bother. Go to the Kebab one instead, great food and staff there! Overall, we had a nice week, but there is no way I would class this hotel as 5 star, a solid 3 star pushing to a 4 on a good day. We had to wait half an hour for a lift on our final day as they’re so small and refuse to stop at every floor 🤦‍♀️😂 Unfortunately, despite the positives, the negatives outweigh so much that we won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

3 star maybe 4 star at best Lots to improve on to bring it up to 5* Issues with our room, air con leaked over night flooding living area & soaking the single sofa bed. Shower door fell off on day 6. Shower wouldn't drain on day 8, took multiple calls to reception & a technic to come out twice to sort was blocked again by the last day. Had to call reception for replenishment of loo roll & water a few times as wasn't replenished daily. Cleaners don't remove cups from your room which I would expect for a 5* considering it is the start of the busy holiday season I'd expect rooms to be perfect. Tiles walking down to the kids pools we're broken & sharp. They bodged it one morning & by midday the replacement tile was shattered and worse than before. Lifeguards all sat in one area & not monitoring all pools. The one child's pool was deadly slippy! My son fell twice in here so we ended up avoiding it. Toilets by the kids pools were a mess. Often no toilet roll, and left in a disgusting state. They needed someone cleaning & replenishing these toilets constantly. On day 4 we all had tummy upsets that lasted 3 days. Put off the food as others we talked to we're experiencing the same tummy issues. The food in the buffet restaurant was samey samey. Italian night was dyer. Ants on the side between the fruit juice dispensers and the coffee machines daily. Nobody cared when I told a member of staff. The best part of our stay was the water slides which our son loved and the pizza at the snack bar by the beach! This is not 5*. Its 4 at best but honestly I'd rate it 3 based on our experience. It could easily be 5 star but needs improvement in all areas.
