this hotel really exceeded my expectations. The restaurant buffet has the biggest scale I’ve ever had and there were so many food chooses. For example there were vegetarian, diet, gluten-free, bbq sections and many more. The room was spacious and the cleaning lady was very kind and very good at her job. I visited in December so there were a lot of rainy days, therefore the hotel planned many in door activities that kept me and children active . And the best part of it all, the heated pool situated right outside of the hotel.

From the moment we entered this resort, we were met with friendly faces and great service. This resort exceeded all my expectations. Check-in was quick and smooth. The room was neat spacious and clean. I loved that the linen and towels were clean, no stains, no marks, and fresh looking every day. The towels especially were fluffy white and smelled fresh and clean. The housekeeping staff were brilliant and deserve a special shout out. The food where do I begin.... the variety and selection is extraordinary, there is something for every palate. Waking up in the morning will excite you knowing what awaits you for breakfast. What stood out for me was on this huge scale of food and how many people were using the dishing out spoons etc it was always clean. Staff are well trained and constantly cleaning the area and checking that all is in order. Lunch and dinner are just as good as breakfast and is gratifying to the pickiest of eaters as well. There are many al carte There is food available all over the resort so you will never go hungry here. We especially loved the late afternoon cheese sandwich and ice cream which we enjoyed after swimming . The resort boasts a number of different pools depending on what you looking for, we found ourselves at the Olympic size pool midday as a portion of the pool was shaded. The aqua park was such fun and had me feeling like a child again. There are many slides to choose from and the lazy river was perfect to relax in after. The resort has so much to offer I don't think we managed to get through it all. There's pools, aqua park, kiddies aqua park, fun fair, tennis, games room, bowling, cinema, live entertainment every night and so much more. This resort is definitely worth the 5 star rating it is clean, well kept, run by efficient, dedicated staff and ensures every guest has a wonderful holiday

Overall having travelled with my nine year old daughter we really enjoyed it and was absolutely fantastic - however the major issue experienced and I think it is good to highlight it. 1. First will appalled the positive prospective - we were always made so welcome by Fredi Demirel (Rush Hour) eaterie in the Main Restaurant great gentleman made my daughter and I feel really welcomed at all meal times. 2. The cleaning lady on Block 3 (3300 - 3330) named Tuba Uludag was absolutely great always polite and smiling and cleans as required. 3. Turgut (Guest Relationship Manager) dealt very professionally with a major issue encounter with one of their employees which was a very horrifying and upsetting. The two gentleman managers at reception that also dealt very professionally with the situation on the night were very helpful and great. With the great kindness of these gentlemen made me feel different towards what I and my 9 year old daughter had to experience. 4. Toma O. (Guest Relationship Agent) the way you treated myself on my entrance into the main restaurant totally REFUSED me entry for dinner over a pair of decent Sandals which all your managers have agreed were absolutely fine and you felt to take it upon yourself and humiliate me and my daughter refusing us to go have a meal and only agree once a manger had to be called on my request considering these were Sandals I had worn to breakfast, lunch and dinner for 9 days in a row with no one else apphrending us the way you did. To make it worse we were totally put off our dinner, only to go into the restaurant as advised it was ok by the manager and see 10 plus many more women wearing Sandals just like me casually walking around i was flabbergasted you stopped me for what ever reason but everyone else was wearing them you made my daughter and I feel so uncomfortable and lost our appetite. When I took the pictures of the people's feet and Sandals and showed you, your response was " they all disobedient like me and don't want to follow rules" like really. You never even thought to apologise for your behaviour considering a child was there too. All these disobedient people are who pay your salary as we travel tourism is the biggest part of the resort and holiday and you should have at least had the decency to apologise you were wrong. You made me cry with the audience and your arrogant attitude for something I never done wrong even the three managers said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my Sandals. In future, all travellers so take note of your name in case they have the same experience because it is very unfair for this to happen and you did not apologise at all. But overall I'd say a beautiful holiday just point 4 put a sour taste but it is well worth the money and such an amazing place. Thank you to all the staff that made it worthwhile the gentleman in Rush Hour, the cleaning lady, the three gentleman managers (didn't know two of their names maybe good to put it on comment so I can thank them) most of the staff were great overall at the swimming pool the life guards at reception the support etc. Once again thank you Turgut and Managers for helping us at that dreadful point

This was our second visit to Delphin Be Grand and our seventh visit to Lara Beach. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed with our stay. The hotel has lovely facilities, which is expected given the price. Whilst the majority of staff are friendly and the hotel has some good events, we rated the hotel down because of: 1. Becoming less visitor focused, more money focused. The prices for non-free things have increased significantly. Whether it’s €50 per person for the a la carte steak (€30 for Chinese and €20 for Sushi), or the laundry prices, the focus feels like it’s on getting more money from visitors. Another example is the hotel not providing any irons, so any creased clothes must be sent to laundry. This was a change from last time. 2. Understaffed. The staff are great however the restaurants and bars feel understaffed. It took a while at peak times to be served with drinks and one particular time we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks during a live music, with just two servers in the Flamingo Bar. It felt like the hotel was understaffed, which we’ve never experienced at other hotels. 3. Food quality has dropped. There is lots of variety, however the quality of some of the ingredients and dishes has reduced. Having been to other hotels on Lara Beach, the food at Delphin Be this time was less good in comparison. 4. Room temperate was too hot. We asked on three occasions for it to be changed but the management had set our air conditioning on heat and weren’t prepared to change it. We ended up going to buy a fan from a local supermarket. Not what we’d expect from a 5 star hotel which charges higher room rates than its competitors. In all, we enjoyed our holiday but we were disappointed by some aspects of our stay. We likely won’t come back for a while, as we have experienced better hotels on Lara Beach and would prefer to revisit those.
