My Mother and I stayed at the hotel 03.09-12.09. It was the third time at the Siam hotel for my family, so we are regular guests 🙂 The first pleasant impression this time was a free room upgrade. We booked a standart room, but they were overcrowded, so the staff gave us a duplex room. It was so nice, we really appreciated this courtesy! The duplex was large, cozy and had a big terrace with sea view 🌅 Food was pretty tasty for an all-inclusive hotel, usually the same every day. Cleaning room service came regularly. The staff was polite and usually said hello to us in English and Russian. We didn't go to the evening entertainment, and was good, that at the hotel room was quiet even at that time. We came specially for a beach holiday and swimming, so we were spending almost all the time relaxing on the beach, and it was very nice 🙂

Honest review having travelled to Turkey many times. Previously we have stayed in Belek, Side and Lara Beach areas and hotels were Grand Park Lara, Saturn Palace, Aishen K Club, Crystal Sunset and Latoonia (now called something else). So we have a few hotels to compare it to. We stayed here as a group of 5 people 4 Adults (two being 18) and 1 child age 13. We had the standard rooms, with child on sofa bed which was comfortable for the 10 nights we stayed there. Rooms were clean with plenty of storage. Covers on the bed were more like a towel and probably not big enough to cover the entire double bed but they worked for us, i'm sure if we had asked for more we would have got some, some days we had two others just the one. Towels were changed most days but as a room of 3 people sometimes we were only given enough for two people but we rang reception and that was sorted. One day the towels were changed but what was given were dirty towels, however i managed to grab some from the trolley outside the room. Minibar was re-stocked with what we used every day with soft drinks, air con was cold and great relief of an evening when temps hit over 40 degrees Celsius. Reception staff were friendly and although spoke in broken English they were able to understand my requests, but google translate also worked. The lobby bar has air con and drinks are served in glasses, no music or entertainment but that's to be expected in a lobby bar where reception is. The grounds of the hotel are clean and kept well, and all throughout the day there are cleaners cleaning up after the people who can't be bothered to put their rubbish and plastic cups in the many bins around the pool and the baskets for their used plates and cutlery. These bins are also emptied very often. The toilets at the pool were mainly clean but very dark, this is something that needs to be improved. If you had impaired vision you may have struggled. Drinks at the pool bar, snack bar and coffee shop are great, there were a few times when they ran out of Malibu (their version) but a walk to another bar soon sorted the problem. It was nice that Absolute vodka was on the All Inclusive at no extra cost. Sometime we had to ask for it, other times they just served it. Food for lunch was very nice at the snack bar, mostly all cooked to order, pasta bar, chicken bar, pizza bar and burger bar and there was always fresh salad, chips, nuggets and rice every day. We had no problem seeing flies on food and the food was always under the shade, never in full sunlight. One day there were pide being cooked and we saw that once in the 10 days we stayed there. We never went to the buffet restaurant for lunch so can't comment on that. Ice-creams are available throughout the day but there is no ice-cream available at Dinner which i think was very odd, usually there is some sort of ice-cream for children at dinner, even just a small tub but we didn't see any in the 10 days we were there. Entertainment was great, the team really do work hard to make sure everyone is entertained, some evenings there were professional shows at the hotel other evenings it was the entertainment team. Everyone really did work hard considering the heat. Mini disco was held at the snack bar at 8:30pm then the evening show started at 9:30pm in the amphitheater usually ended at 10:30pm. There was then music, dancing at the snack bar until about 11:30pm, after this the Night Club on site was open which we went to on a few occasions with a mixture of music for all nationalities and All inclusive drinks are included. If you want a sunbed around the pool edge then be prepared to get up at 6:15/6:30am otherwise you may struggle to get a good spot. i think that was the case regardless of what pool you wanted to be around. We did notice people coming down about 10:30am who asked the pool attendant to get them beds and on many occasions they did. We didn't experience people reserving beds and then not using them most of the day, most people did use their beds all day which was an improvement on some hotels we have stayed in. The staff do not speak fluent English but we do not speak fluent Turkish but they did speak some English and there was never a time they didn't understand what i was asking. Wherever there is a notice in the hotel including the food and drink menu's there is always English written, including the lifts. The beach is very nice but is shingles/small stones on approach and into the sea but we managed without any problem. The only negative we have for this hotel is that the food at breakfast and evening meal but was very bland and repetitive. The whole time we were there we never had kebab, a first for us in Turkey. Some meat was quite fatty also. Not really a lot for children of an evening so we made the most of the lunch menu which was served until 5pm. We probably wouldn't return to this hotel but that' because we never return to the same hotel again as we feel there are many more to visit. Don't be put off by the bad reviews on here it's certainly no where near as bad as people are making it out to be, we certainly made the most of our 10 days. If you want to book day trips then I suggest you book with Belek Tours, outside the hotel is a billboard with a whatsapp number on it (by the taxi rank) whatsapp them and they will send you details of their trips, very well priced too, we did the boat trip and had a great day. They also picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back off.
