Brilliant stay for a young family. Immaculate throughout. The pools and water park great. The food was the best I’ve had whilst staying in turkey. Usual English kids food (pizza, chips fresh meat etc) but the variety and quality of the buffet great especially the barbecue.We had 2 meals at the Turkish (fab) and the steak house which were excellent. Only criticism would be a few more a-lacarts should be available as part of AI package like many high class hotels in Antalya. 5 mins (5 euro) taxi into Belek centre for usual tourist shops, bars etc. The hotel was very accommodating when we asked for rooms close to family Which we appreciated. The Turkish baths, 2 indoor pools and sauna/steams open all the time and free to use which were great. The kids club and staff again brilliant. The staff are the hotels biggest asset. Cannot do enough for you and we’re great with our babies and young daughter. Special mention to Elif and Esra who looked after us. Thank you. If u want a family beach holiday on a resort with good food, service and entertainment you’ll not be disappointed.

“Good for families with children”

We stayed in the Susesi hotel in May 2024, after we had just finished our stay in Akra Kemer. We were lucky enough to have a room upgrade, and the view was beautiful. The hotel itself was bigger, with a big garden and a sandy beach. However, the water was not at all clear and transparent, like in Kemer. With our entry, a large medical conference group also checked in, for 4 days. This affected the quality of the service, in bars and restaurants, because a very large number of people came, at the same time, to the bar or to the table, making the operativeness of the staff to be reduced, although, after the departure of the group, the service was good , but not so promptly, however. There is no access to the a la carte restaurants, except for one, on the menu, between Turkish and Mexican. We chose Turkish and were pleasantly impressed. We also really liked the Gozleme area and we visit it every day, to eat at lunch, with a glass of airan. In Susesi, no one takes your order at the beach or pool, but for us it didn't matter and there is no beach area or bars for adults only. On one of the first days in the hotel, where there is also that conference group, we wanted to have a drink after dinner. The central bar was absolutely full, with individual tourists, conference tourists, strollers with children and children who were running, crying... Although the space is very large, you could barely find a table inside, but it was hard to find someone to serve you . No matter how professional the waiters were, and I saw later that they were, I think it was a bit much for both them and the bartenders. If I could make a suggestion, it would be that the tables and coffee breaks of groups be separated from those of individual customers, and that some bars, at least one, remain adult only. There are several bars in the hotel, but maybe, if tourists are attracted to serve there too, with various events or a special drink, the main bar would be relieved. Leaving aside these small inconveniences, the hotel is a good one, in which we felt good. I would recommend it more to families with children, until the hotel takes some measures to address only those without children.

If you're an English family, here's the detailed review you're looking for..we have stayed in Gural Premium Belek, Adalya Elite Lara and Delphin Imperial before this (plus two years in Blue Lagoon Village Deluxe in Kos) So I would give the Susesi Delux hotel 4.5 if TA allowed and here's why: - Room: 5/5. Outstanding. We booked a Senior Suite as we are two adults, 3 kids (18/11/7), and but for having a sea view, we couldn't have been happier. It's one of the older hotels on the stretch but our room was newly renovated. Two bathrooms (one for kids and one for us!), kids room slept all three of them easily with three beds and their own balcony with a swing seat. Our room had HUGE king bed, separate living area and wardrobes plus another balcony. Cleanliness amazing, all amenities including hairdryer and wireless charging facilities. Fridges replenished every night plus the snacks the kids liked. Absolutely quality. - Buffet restaurant: 4/5. We don't tend to use the a la cartes (sorry if you're looking for review on those but other guests said they were ok), because our kids love the buffet variety. The standard of the food was very high and although the usual 'brace yourself' as you walk in for a table, the waiters were excellent in helping us get a bigger table, usually outside where it was calmer. Breakfast everything you expect from these hotels, pastries and fruit lovely and a fresh juice machine an added bonus. For dinner, there was enough variety for a week/10days..lamb chops our highlight and the sushi night was very good indeed. Plain pasta and rice always for kids (obviously chips and pizzas as well). There's a great BBQ section outside. What stops it being a 5/5 is probably just a lack of some more different dishes and that the main room is a bit hectic in the way it's laid out. But v good. There was some vegan and gluten free options but without being an expert, I'd say these were limited. - Lunch. 5/5..a really pleasant surprise as we hadn't really researched the snack bars. But lunch in the beach restaurants was a la carte. Burgers, pizzas, wraps, salads, fresh fish and a made-to-order pasta station where the chef was brilliant. Good wine served in cold glasses (we'll get to drinks soon) and waiters here were the best of the trip. There was grilled beef and chicken as well which we didn't have as the kids loved the pizza so much. Also a Turkish flatbread section with two ladies making from scratch. Loved it. There's a separate ice cream station serving waffles, churros and about 10 flavours of ice cream plus things like Cornetto as well. - Drinks. 5/5..where to start?! The standard and quality of the drinks was simply outstanding. The best by far we've had in Belek and Lara (and Greece). All branded spirits (except Baileys for some reason) and the cocktails just top notch. Frozen strawberry and mango daiquiri, Aperol spritz, negroni, Bellini, mojito..you name it, they'll make it!Waiters are busy but very good and table service when you're sat in the bar..with drinks served in glasses and not plastics! The kids didn't have one soft drink served on a 'gun'..all coke zero, Fanta, sprite served in ice-cold cans or bottles. They made a real fuss of the kids, especially Hakan who always made sure I had a fresh glass. Beer was Tuborg, Carlsberg export (draft or bottles), Corona. The bars also had crisps and Doritos in little pots with drinks. Hayyal Bar of an evening lovely after the entertainment and juice bar good on way back to room for some non alcoholic refreshment! As with everywhere in Belek, bottled water in plentiful supply. Spot on, zero complaints. - Pools/waterpark 4/5. Perhaps slightly harsh but only because we've had better. Lagoon pool lovely with the palm trees in the middle but we preferred the activity pool which is huge..about 90m long according to my Garmin for my morning swim. Water temperature in May/June perfect. Around the pool there seems to be lots of sun beds but this is one of first places I've felt I needed to put towels down before breakfast to seal a good spot. By 9, you were too late. Lovely bays created with bushes and trees though and plenty of much-needed shade. Usual activities all day and well organised. The waterslides suited our age of kids..6 slides, 5 of them lively enough for a good half hour to an hour of fun each day. One slide with inflatables was 16+ which seemed a little unnecessary as both my younger kids would've done it if allowed. Lovely shade over here too to take pics and sit and watch them. All in all, just lovely. - Cabanas/villas. 3/5. These are extra and PRICEY! We've had them before for €50-60 per day and these were €130!! So we just had one day as a last-day treat. The structure is spot on with enough room and comfy beds/cushions. The usual fridge and safe but disappointed no fan. Had decking with canopy for lunch which was served and as many sun loungers as you needed on lovely grass bank overlooking the beach. But service was infrequent for the price and the phone to order drinks didn't work. Nice day but needs to be better for that price! - Beach/pier 3/5. Perhaps slightly harsh again but compared to Delphin Imperial and Adalya, this was a bit lacking. Pier nice for sun beds and jumping off the jetty which the kids loved. But the bar was set back from pier, not on it and there was nothing of an evening down here like in other hotels. Beach immaculate though and plenty of sun beds here in sun or shade. Not as comfy as ones with cushions like in other hotels though. Beach bar a bit busy as small (perhaps one on the jetty would solve this!). Watersports high standard and the usual (pricey) cost. - Evening entertainment. 4/5. Very high standard of performance, mainly dance shows but they are much of muchness along this stretch. Added bonus was live performers or DJ in the bar after show had finished and as mentioned before the Hayyal Bar. They had big screens for Champions League final and table service so that was good too. The 18-year-old swanned in during the early hours each night (another bonus of the two-ro suite!), so he was happy with the bars and clubs that were open late and we felt he was safe going as the animation team and security were very friendly. - Kids club/entertainment. Sorry, we've never used the kids clubs, but the football pitch, games with table tennis tables and tennis courts were brilliant. All included and with equipment to borrow. (Take a football and inflatables with you or prepare to remortgage) - Overall and value for money 4/5. We felt like we got a decent deal considering we have a grown up child and needed/wanted a suite room. The building is slightly dated but as mentioned, our room was so well renovated and cleaner was excellent. The grounds are immaculate and green, watered etc. Would we come back? Probably not, but only because we like trying new places each time. However, if you're looking for 4/5star family fun, guaranteed weather, decent food and quality drink, you can't go far wrong with Susesi.
