Paloma Grida - All Inclusive

I spent my vacation at Paloma Grida with my husband and 2 children. It was a wonderful stay. Pros: - Great childcare at Polly Kids club. The club is open every day from 10am - 12am and then from 2 pm to 10 pm. You can leave your children under the care of the lovely ladies and it's completely free. The children have a lot of fun there, daily animations and organized activities. My son is diabetic, but for the wonderful ladies it was no obstacle to taking care of him. If necessary, they gave him a banana to raise his blood glucose. Tulay (Turkish animator) deserves special thanks, who even knew how to talk to my children a little in Polish. Thank you once again :) - Cleanliness. The cleaning ladies and men taking care of the Paloma Grida surroundings do a great job. - Very friendly and nice service. Everyone smiles and greets you. - Good infrastructure. There is everything you need like market, souvenirs shop, patisserie etc. No need to go outside the hotel if you don't want. - Well-kept, green gardens. Cats and tortoises walking freely around the hotel making a home atmosphere. - Great wi-fi throughout the hotel (for us it was important to have a current reading from our son's glucose sensor). - Very good food, a different theme every day (Far East, Turkish, fish etc.). The staff works hard to make sure no one lacks anything. They clean very fast. Additional bonuses in main restaurant like a table with cupcakes, handmade chocolate, freshly squeezed juices, sandwiches or churros made in front of you by the staff, kebab, crabs. - During the day, animations by the pool. Every evening, great international animations at a very high level. we loved them, it was really something! - It must also be admitted that the lifeguards by the pool with slides do a great job. They were always vigilant and cared for the safety of guests without compromise. Cons: - Entire hotel property is outdated and need to be renovated. In the room we had a problem with water leaking after a bath, which flooded the bathroom floor. I reported it to the staff twice. Each time, repairmen came and tried to fixe it, but the problem remained. For the rest of our stay, we had to put towels on the floor next to the bathtub so that we wouldn't walk on the wet floor. The fish restaurant (Ada) is in the worst condition and looks like an old, dilapidated shack. - The beach at the hotel is ugly. It is not completely sandy, as TUI says in its offer. The entrance to the sea is covered with stones. Rubbish floats in the sea. The beach is not cleaned thoroughly, I saw bottles, cigarette butts and polystyrene floating by the shore and on the beach. This is the main argument why we will not come here again. - On the day of return, TUI provided a bus to the airport at 10:20, while our return flight was at 16:30 (over an hour late). The last day of our stay was practically lost. - Too few sun loungers by the pools. Forget about a sun lounger if you don't take it with a towel in the morning. - The playground that the hotel offers consists of two old swings and two slides. Very poor.

We have just returned from a fantastic two week holiday at the Paloma Grida with my wife and our two children who are 4 and very nearly two Restaurants The main restaurant which is a self help buffet is huge and offers a wide range of foods with seating available inside and outside. Each evening is themed including Mexican, Italian, Fish, Far East, Turkish and International. For those with kids who would prefer chips etc this is still available each evening and dinnertime in the main restaurant with a small separate kids area also open. We particularly enjoyed the Mexican, Turkish and Italian evenings. The food was so tasty and the dinnertime buffet constantly changed so there was plenty of variety throughout our two week stay. There was a wide range of deserts plus a ice cream section and there were additional bonuses served up each morning with some Turkish specialities. The local honey and jams were delicious too. The restaurant was clean and tidy with a number of highchairs available. We visited the international Al la Cart restaurant once and the Turkish restaurant twice during our visit. You book these restaurants via the app which is easy to do. We found the international restaurant more difficult to find a table to book onto and we’re disappointed having waited more than an hour for our main course to arrive and we left before our desert arrived such was the length of time we waited so we didn’t miss the mini disco. The service and food at the Turkish restaurant was next level and made us feel very special. Bars There are a variety of cocktails available at the main bar serving a variety of branded spirits (if you ask for them). A great range of cocktails with some non alcoholic cocktails available. There were also additional cocktails at the over 18’s bar which is on the beach. The iced Mocha’s at the coffee bar were delicious. Service Absolutely fantastic! The guest relations we never saw in person as we interacted on the few occasions we required assistance via WhatsApp. We requested towels as we only had hand towels one day and our message was acknowledged within 5 minutes and towels delivered within 20 minutes. Likewise our son had an accident during the night and we contacted guest relations asking if the bed could be changed before 2pm when he would have a nap. Again the message was acknowledged within 5 minutes and the room cleaned within 45 minutes. We were so impressed. All staff across the resort were excellent and always happy to help. The service really was superb. A special mention to Gulsum in the buffet restaurant. She interacted fantastically with our daughter and she looked after us really really well. A mention also to Yalcun in the buffet restaurant, an excellent waiter who was is a credit to the hotel and again took great care of us. Wi-Fi Never had better Wi-Fi than on this holiday. Never once had an issue and the internet was speedy too Pools and beach There are multiple pools perfect for our young children with a variety of slides plus a splashpark which they loved. There were also some larger slides which kept me entertained too. The only gripe is how quickly the sun beds were taken (most gone by 9am) with only a handful of people around the pools at that time. The beach at the bottom of the resort was great, would recommend coral shoes to help with the stones underfoot Entertainment We went to mini disco every night which our kids loved. The kids entertainment team got fully involved which was nice to see. We stayed up for a couple of shows - Michael Jackson and the Friday party which is held. The Friday party involved a large number of inflatables and party music themed for adults. It worked great with something for all the family. Paw Patrol even pitched up for one of the Friday parties. Plenty of well looked after cats are at the resort plus a number of tortoises. All of which blend into the resort really well and we plus a number of others were often looking out for cats and tortoises as we walked around the resort. All in all we had a brilliant holiday and we were so pleased to have chosen to stay at the Paloma Grida.

We arrived late at night, and the hotel bus transfer took almost 2 hours because it waited for other guests from different hotels. We finally reached Paloma Grida at 2 am. It would have been better with a more efficient transfer service. Upon arrival, I asked if any kitchen is open and I could have a sandwich or something. Here I expect that a good hotel finds a solution and goes the extra mile, thats good service. We had to ask the staff to help with our bags and baby and drive us to our room at 2am, even though several employees were sitting around with golf carts. Be proactive, go the extra mile. Aside from these points, the hotel is very nice with many pools and activities for kids of all ages. The quality of the food was excellent, and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
