Had a wonderful stay at Sahra su hotel, we stayed in a bungalow which was at the back of the resort which was quieter than other places, just right to chill and relax, pools are right outside your room. Lots of food to choose from. We booked our trips through teddy at reception who was really helpful I really recommend going to Suga beach if you like a bit of music with a bay to swim in and the cocktails are amazing! Also did the turtle beach day trip which I also recommend. The spa here is amazing the Turkish massage was incredible. The staff do their absolute best to look after you and nothing is too much trouble.

Sahra Su was a great hotel and a perfect adventure for a first time holiday in years with my partner, the best part about the hotel itself easily has to be the staff, they make you feel as if you’re family and that you’ve been there ages. Teddy thoroughly explained the excursions available to us, and you are guaranteed a safe experience when booking through him, Oscar, gave us plenty of options when it came to the fantastic Turkish bath/massage we had, props to sky and her lovely team for the massage as well. The most helpful of staff has to be Frank, his role in Sahra Su is great helped us with anything we needed from getting wifi, making sure we were getting charged correctly for taxis. To pretty much anything else we needed. He isn’t driven by sales and is purely customer happiness driven. The food is better than what you’d expect for a 3+ star rating, although there isn’t an insane range of option the food itself is very nice and there’s enough to keep you coming back for 3-4 meals a day without being bored, the options included all you can eat buffet, outdoor BBQ and an outdoor snack bar that serves English food! The location is great for those who want to be away from the busy city it’s quite secluded. The transport to the city is 5-10 minutes usually same with excursions and is also quite cheap! Nothing within walking distance however but that’s not always a bad thing. The rooms are pretty standard, with aircon, bed and a TV, with daily restocking of replenishments and toiletries. Only issue would be the mosquitos as we ended up with a couple bites. The nighttime entertainment is great, there is always something on and it’s usually very good. All in all a very positive experience and would definitely recommend to those looking for an affordable warm holiday in turkey!

“Brilliant”

We had a great 9days at sahra su very well looked after very clean everything was perfect thanks to Frank and members at the hotel we will definitely be back next year kids loved it plenty of space around the pools etc food was good also vareity to suit everyone 😀

I stayed for a week with my daughter we didn't have any interaction with any manager whilst we were there. In fact I wouldn't have a name for any stand out member of staff. I had booked on the reviews as always 5star but it wasn't for us. ROOMS: We where upstairs behind reception.. the room was very clean but needed painting in parts.. 1 coarse thin blanket on the beds. We asked for sheets. The aircon was very noisy and clicked all the time it also spat drops of water out and as it was above my bed I couldn't leave it on at night. The carpet in the corridor didn't look like it had been hoovered in weeks and def needed replacing.. Cleaners where very good though and changed the towels.sheets and replaced water every day. GROUNDS: Are really lovely.. All the different areas have there own pools but no facilities apart from at the main pool.. We spent all our time there and there's plenty of beds and shade to be found. Activities around the pool in the day as well as aqua aerobics and water polo. There is only 1 toilet here though to service.. the pool. Both bars.. the restaurant.. the snack bar and the entertainment area. RESTAURANT: Lots of choices but the flies are a nightmare and the aircon isn't sufficient and it's extremely hot in there. Some of the waiters where really friendly but not all.. some where also too keen to take away your plates even when you hadn't finished eating. SNACKBAR: Food was freshly cooked and always hot here. The lady making the crepes was very friendly and it was great to watch her. BARS: Again not all the bar staff where friendly. My main issue was that my daughter has an allergy to pineapple. Not serious but certainly not pleasant as her tongue will swell. Everytime I asked for the cocktail sex on the beach (which is orange not pineapple) I always asked in case for no pineapple but on several occasions they still added it resulting in a reaction! I wasn't happy and by the end of the week I expressed that. ENTERTAINMENT: Was ok.. although the music quiz night was a disaster! TRIPS: We found Teddy informative but he didn't live up to the hype! You can't pay for anything with card either its all cash. We booked the jeep safari and although we enjoyed the day. Everything is an extra fee when you arrive at the meeting point. The water cannons £5. plastic shoes £6.25 for the waterfall( although you can hire for 50TL when you are there) entrance fee also into the gorge and any other activities throughout the day.. and the photos at the end £30. It would have been nice to be informed of the extras beforehand I think. We also witnessed several incidents between several different families and individuals that tarnished our stay.. although the management where very good at intervening and resolving these. Overall the Hotel is in a beautiful setting. I would recommending upgrading your room as the swim up bungalows looked the better option. Take lots of cash as even the beauty salon wouldn't take card payments for a pedicure we wanted to have and its a £5 taxi ride there and then back to the nearest cash point.
