First time in turkey, Olu Deniz is a beautiful resort with a stunning bay and most importantly the sun sets over the sea giving the most glorious sunsets. Hotel is basic but satisfactory. Grounds are beautiful with gorgeous cats and chickens roaming free. We had no problem getting sunbeds. Buse, aka miss sunshine is a wonderful entertainer for the kids and her mini disco made my nieces trip. Cocktails aren’t great but the food is wonderful, fresh and healthy, good selection, delicious seasoned kebabs and dolmades and burgers for the less adventurous.. don’t even start me on the Baclava… WOW. Entertainment at night has been of a good standard. We’ve enjoyed a cocktail at sunset at the Orange beach bar, excellent service. Great meal at Kumsel Pide down the road if you want a change of scenery. If you want a boat trip don’t bother booking at the hotel, head down the strip to the end and book a pirate ship. Also you must do the cable car at sunset.

First time we've travelled to Turkey in October and won't be the last. Oludeniz resort has been fantastic don't get me wrong the hotel rooms require a bit of maintenance and a lick of paint but everything else is spot on. The grounds are covered with fruit and olive trees and well maintained. Staff, can't fault them,all the staff we met were polite,courteous and fun loving. Great choice of food to choose from. Ranging from basic chips to traditional Turkish cuisine. The resort quite literally opens out onto the beach which is handy, a 3/4 minute walk and you're on the main strip. Not forgetting to mention Ali of the small but efficient animation team unrelenting on motivating the sparse crowd that was less than enthusiastic at times 🤣 Would highly recommend and may return in the near future Thank you for a great holiday

“You get what you pay for”

We have just been for 4 nights, the room was very basic and in poor condition, the lowest standard I have stayed in, It was bearable for 4 nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to be there any longer. The bathroom was tiny and can’t have been updated for decades. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in this very noisy complex, difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bedding doesn’t actually cover the edges of the bed, my daughter’s double bed in their room was two singles pushed together of different heights. The service is inconsistent but in general the staff try. The food was not great, we had to go out to eat after two nights, the majority is also unlabelled so you are not even sure what it is, there is a massive cat problem across the entire site including inside the restaurant where there are allowed to roam freely. They have high chairs with a wipe to ensure it’s clean but then the staff constantly come up to touch the babies. The drinks were terrible, the wine undrinkable, no sparkling wine and the cocktails were just horrible. There was a snack bar in the afternoon till four, the burgers were pre cooked and then dipped in the chip fat and heated up on the grill. The whole place is generally quite grubby, you can’t walk anywhere in the public areas without walking through cigarette smoke. The best part is the location which is right next to the beach and the hotel has loungers and umbrellas for guests use. I would not return even for a couple of nights.

“Family stay”

We stayed here as a family of 6 and had booked 3 rooms, we requested the rooms to be near each other and one on the ground floor due to reduced mobility of 2 of the party. We stayed here as a family of 6 and had booked 3 rooms, we requested the rooms to be near each other and one on the ground floor due to reduced mobility of 2 of the party. We arrived at 3am and checked in when we asked if the rooms were near each other he laughed in our faces and said no ! All of the rooms were far away from each other at opposite ends of the hotel and all on the 2nd floor. We spoke to someone on the phone and were advised we could swap rooms in the morning, when we went to reception we were greeted by the rudest member of staff who informed us the manager was off and they had no more rooms! After complaining to the jet2 rep we eventually got 2 rooms near each other and on the ground floor. The food is lovely and there is always a great choice, the pancakes at the adult pool are amazing. The bar staff are super friendly and always up for a giggle. Cleaners don’t really clean they just make the bed and empty bins we didn’t have fresh sheets for the whole 10 days. The location of this hotel is fantastic straight onto the beach and bonus free loungers to use. 5 min walk to the hustle and bustle of the strip. Towels were left on sun beds for days on end and never removed by staff, kids at the main pool are left to run riot by certain parents so we spent most of our time at the adult pool. We were unable to get late check out but advised there was a locked room we could leave our luggage, when we checked out we were then told it was full and had to leave the cases in reception. After speaking to someone else we found the luggage room and it was empty so managed to out the cases in there. The reception staff let this hotel down they are rude and lie to your face. I would return to this hotel but not with my elderly parents
