HONEST REVIEW 🌅 Here is my honest review of our stay at the stunning liberty lykia, family side. On our arrival (3am) we were greeted by some friendly young staff who promptly showed us to our room. We felt like we were in a race car as we traveled to our room via golf buggy and speeds not permitted in the uk 🤣🤣 My boys loved this! Our room was decked out with anniversary, candles, and balloons and fridge, full with lots of refreshments! After a wonderful nights sleep in a perfectly air-conditioned room, we headed out to see this beautiful hotel and everything it has to offer. It’s in a completely gorgeous setting, the staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is in abundance! The mountains surrounding us was out of this world. We stayed in the main pool for our first day, and soon got our bearings, as to where the snacks were, and when food is served! The food was exquisite and I honestly couldn’t fault it. I loved trying genuine Turkish kebabs, and proper baklava! I have eaten my weight in baklava!! There is always something new to see! My boys highlight was the waterpark! They loved the kids restaurants there and the food really catered well for children! They also loved the infinity pool which was probably our favourite! We also spent some time watching the sun go down in the little white paddling pools next to the main pool. It was so relaxing. We unfortunately didn’t get to see much of the entertainment as it was just that bit too late for us as most didn’t start until 9.30-10 and my kids were exhausted by 9! We also didn’t use the kids clubs but I could do there was an array of activities to cater to all ages. The beach was stunning. The floats to jump off and snorkelling was amazing and seeing so many different fish was so exciting. The swing was also a lovely touch. But the sunsets! Well they speak for themselves!! As a Brit I’d say we’re pretty polite, and always wait our turn, which isn’t always the case with others, so I’d say it’s a free for all at the buffet. After a few nights of others pushing in in front of you, I’d say just go and get what you want. Waiting in line doesn’t always mean others follow suit 🤣 If I had to give a negative, and this is really me being fussy, but a lot of people continued to smoke a lot in non smoking areas, particularly at the kids waterpark, which I didn’t enjoy having the smoke blown over me and the kids continuously. That’s obviously not the hotels fault but I did find it disrespectful considering the vast amount of no smoking signs around. Also, their spa salesmen asked me constantly for a massage, but I know they’re just trying to do their job so I can’t complain too much. I think after the 10th time, it because a bit annoying. However they were lovely friendly guys, and obviously just trying to make a living. We had some good banter and all was well in the end. The hotel really is magical. Everywhere you look, it’s spotless. The gardens are all clearly very well taken care of. The staff are attentive and kind. Special thanks to beste a lifeguard at the waterpark who went above and beyond to help me find my phone which I lost! We stayed in Simena overlooking the sea, and we never had any noise at night. It was quiet and peaceful. My boys loved seeing the lizards on the walls at night, and spotting some unsual fish near shore which was amazing. The week went so quickly we didn’t even have time to try out the various restaurants, mainly because the food in the main restaurant was so good and we were so happy with the variety offered! The coffee shop was lovely and we enjoyed the iced lattes to takeaway. And took full advantage of the patisserie. After being here a week, I would definitely come back again. It had everything a family could want, and more! Book this hotel if you have little ones, you won’t regret it!! Thank you to all the hard working staff at lykia! The Broughtons ❤️🇹🇷❤️

“Boys loved the soccer tournament led by Coach Beyaz”

We are family of 14 on a vacation. Ages from 4 to 70. This hotel has something for everyone. My two boys had the opportunity to join soccer tournament lead by coach Beyaz. He is extremely passionate. And managed to get boys ages from 6 to 12 to become a team in just a week. End celebrations were just excellent, very professional. This is one hotel we all said we will definitely come back. We met people who have been coming here every year for the last 10 years. Incredible.

“Excellent holiday ! I highly recommend”

The hotel is located perfectly beside the beach with a wide range of pools. We enjoyed the adult pools especially the infinity pool! It’s a must if you go. The hotel is located perfectly beside the beach with a wide range of pools. We enjoyed the adult pools especially the infinity pool! It’s a must if you go. The highlight of the trip has to be the staff ! Everyone was so lovely and very helpful. A massive shoutout to Kazim and Barkin the bartender and Engin dinner staff for all your help! There was a great range of shows on in the evenings, ranging from Jazz music to pop and more traditional Turkish music. The atmosphere was very relaxing and staff were again very lovely. Youssef on entertainment was very helpful and friendly. Room service overall was up to standard, bins were tidied and toiletries were updated on a daily. However, we noticed that the room was only thoroughly cleaned and some days there were still empty bottles from the previous days left in the room. I suggest doing a deeper clean if possible.

“Sadly disappointed”

Stayed in the hotel again this year .. made lots of improvements but sadly service has gone down . Room was not cleaned properly snd the 24 hour bar staff were not helpful and you waited ages for your order. The adult beach is extremely rocky so take beach shoes Entertainment was poor
