We have had the most wonderfully relaxing holiday at Green Forest! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most friendly staff. The receptionists, the waiters, the bar tenders, the cleaners, the people at the spa & hairdressers and of course Mr Cheaps all made our holiday truly special! We upgraded to a swim up room which was lovely. We enjoyed massages, had our hair done. We relaxed around the pool whilst soaking in the amazing views, we took woodland walks, and we enjoyed the quiet and peace that Green Forest offers. Thank you for making our holiday magical!! ❤️

Great location, close to loads of restaurants and bars, but far enough away that you can’t hear the bars at night . Basic room ( 3rd floor ) but spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. Great location, close to loads of restaurants and bars, but far enough away that you can’t hear the bars at night . Basic room ( 3rd floor ) but spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. All staff great and friendly ( ozzy will make you laugh ) stayed October 2024 and had no problem with sun beds, more than enough to go round. Close to Ölüdeniz beach, only 10 mins in bus or a couple of £ in taxi.

“Lovely 5 night stay”

We stayed as a couple for 5 nights in October, we chose a swim up room which was lovely for when the sun was on the pool. We stayed as a couple for 5 nights in October, we chose a swim up room which was lovely for when the sun was on the pool. There was plenty of sun beds at the main pool so you did not have to rush to get one in the morning. The pools were very cold but not sure if this is like this all year? We liked the room key system of having a running bill which u can pay at any time and prices were reasonable for the food and drinks. We had lunch a few times which was good; however would stay away from the pizzas, very undercooked and the meat was plastic like! We chose to have late checkout which was until 4pm for £35 which was ideal for us and we thought this was a good price. Only downfall was that in block 1 we found it to be quite noisy when people were awake in the morning and talking in the corridor and also at night times when they returned home in the early hours!! It’s a five/ten min walk to the main strip where there is lots of bars, restaurants and shopping. We took a trip to the cable car one evening for sun set which cost around £5 in taxi, and had a lovely meal at the restaurant at the top. You can also get the bus to the beach or a taxi which is around ten minutes, this is a nice day out! Overall lovely experiences at this hotel, rooms were cleaned daily and very clean/tidy! Our family of 4 including our 5 year old and 1 year old, arrived at Green Forest Holiday Village at around 4am local time via our private Vikings transfer booked separately (highly recommend if you want to be transported in style/luxury!). The owner of the hotel greeted us outside and offered to take our suitcases which was a lovely personal touch, he was warm and welcoming despite the slight language barrier. The welcome was very well received and got our holiday off to a great start and reception were also swift and friendly with check-in which was much appreciated. The hotel felt quite magical at that time of night due to the lighting, plants, water features, well-lit pathway and the sound of roosters cock-a-doodle-do'ing! As sunrise began to set in, we observed that our room didn't have a pool directly outside as some of the rooms did so we spoke to reception who kindly offered to upgrade our room for an additional fee. Reception staff were polite and helpful throughout, always greeting us well and helping with various things including taxis, bag storage, currency exchange, information and other bits. We caught breakfast towards the tail end on our first morning. At the breakfasts generally, there could have been more variety and quality on offer however the view the hotel offers along with the backdrop of the mountains more than made up for that. The hotel has a good selection of outdoor pools, bar/food area, table tennis/pool tables, kids play area, and possibly a gym which didn't look like it was in use. The pool directly outside of our room was spacious and shared by a couple of rooms on the same floor and we made use of it on several occasions. The food at the bar area was perfect for our kids, and the younger staff Hakan and Daria were lovely and spoke to us and our kids on several occasions. On our first day, the hotel had arranged for Funda from Travelicious travel agency to speak to us about excursions and tours. We booked some brilliant and well organised tours through her including Gizlikent Selalesi (walking through water and rocks for around 15 mins through to a waterfall which you can stand under, this included lunch at a restaurant), Saklikent Milli Parki (known for Saklikent Gorge, one of the deepest canyons in Europe, where I went water rafting with my 5 year old), Six Islands Boat Tour (including stunning beaches, Lycian era tombs and the sight of giant turtles swimming at Turtle Beach), and a Jeep Safari (including a water fight which my 5 year old enjoyed, however a bit overwhelming for our 1 year old who I kept protected in the front seat of the Jeep, and a mud bath although the mud bath on the Six Islands Tour is far better). The centre of Fethiye is a short 5-minute walk away from the hotel with a great selection of restaurants including the Sun Trap where we ate frequently. It can be a bit touristy with lots of counterfeit stores and people ushering you into their establishments however it's all in good fun and ourselves and the kids enjoyed the vibe which is the main thing. Taxi's can be called to the hotel pretty quickly and we took them to several places, all of which were within good distance from the hotel including Oludeniz beach, the flea market and Babadag mountain, where you can take a cable car to the top and soak in the most breathtaking scenery as well as observe paragliders. On a few occasions within the hotel, we were approached by the in-house Anka spa manager for a massage, and eventually booked. The experience at the spa was the only negative from the trip, the masseuse applied dangerous amounts of pressure and unconventional techniques and that's coming from someone with a high pain threshold. I was just hoping to leave unscathed. To make things worse, the masseuse was unhappy and rude to me for not being able to take the pressure despite me expressing my discomfort pretty clearly. This led to an awkward end, where the masseuse did not see me off well, barely speaking to me upon exit. I'd expect better considering the number of visitors they receive and to maintain professionalism at all times. However, this didn't dampen our stay by any means as our overall experience at the hotel was excellent. If we could give half stars, we would give this hotel a 4.5 out of 5. It was a memorable trip for our family and we'd certainly stay here again in the future.
