This is prob the quickest I've even wrote a review-after visiting-and it's so I can remember just exactly how good this place was. I've been to tens upon tens of Turkish Baths/Hammans/Massages/Spas's ect and this one was absolutely fantastic. The place isn't posh-it's within a 3 star hotel-but the service was definitely 5 star. The place is clean, smells lovely, and the guy made me very comfortable - always needed as a woman travelling on her own. The treatments were beyond thorough and absolutely on point. From the scrub to the peeling to the foam massage-even the way he washed my hair - everything was done exceptionally and was just lovely. There was no rushing, and it was so peaceful. In-between the Turkish bath and massage, I relaxed for around ten minutes in a comfy seated area, with a small snack, water, and a delicious tea. The actual massage was another level. Yes, painful at some points-you can ask him to go lighter-and he had a lovely balance between getting your knots out and it being relaxing. I'd highly recommend this place, and if I was in the area, I would return again. Excellent value for money also.

Pool area is lovely rooms basic but who cares you only go in there to wash and sleep!!! Breakfast is bread and boil eggs or scrambles egg jam ect only thing I would recommend is for the hotel to get a toaster for the breakfast table. Bar staff are so friendly. Lots of regular returning holiday makers here unfortunately you get the odd person that comes and expects 5star when on holiday and complains about everything.you can't please everyone thankyou carmina for making mine and my family's holiday a good one! Roll on next year when lee comes home from NZ to meet ozzy after years and years

Dean Cooper Just a follow up to a post about the Carmina Hotel from just over a week ago whilst we were there as a family of 7 in 2 rooms, to which I replied to someone that I would post a video of my hotel room & the pool area that have both been recently refurbished since we were last there. So we've all just arrived home today & I did the video yesterday before leaving of my room & the pool/bar area. So here it is showing the work that's been done & is ongoing during the winter months. I would like to add that we've been using the Carmina for 13 years on a regular basis in that time & travelling to Turkey for the last 32 years & during that time we've seen Ozzy go from being the owners son to now running it alongside his father & over recent years they've always tried to improve it. The hotel itself we always classed as cheap & cheerful as we also travel to 5 star all inclusive hotels regularly too but always use the Carmina when we visit Hisaronu because of the staff, locality & price. So when we booked this holiday in January & then saw all the remarks on certain posts on different sites we had trepidation that it had fell into disrepair. Only to be pleasantly surprised by the amount of work that had been done since we were last there to newly tiled & leveled out pool (no deep end) making it more child friendly, some of the rooms above the reception & the new bar area to name but a few. This is a small family run hotel not a large chain group of hotels who are trying to improve it now year on year with a young owner Ozzy bringing new ideas alongside his father but this cannot all be done at once as there is a monetary value to all this & Ozzy has also told me of his further plans for this coming winter. Lastly it will never be the Ritz but it's improving every year & if you want a decent little holiday then give it a try as we did 13 years ago & have so many memories & friends both English & Turkish in that time. When we first visited all them years ago people we met had already be going there for 10 to 20 years & this time we met regulars who also had been going for 30 years plus which says so much about the the friendliness of the hotel, staff & owners to have such repeat business. If you have a problem with a room & your not happy just speak to them & they will do their upmost to sort it ASAP by changing your room as we experienced all them years ago on our first visit & as i have witnessed this week with a young family of 5 who were moved & were very happy with one of the newly renovated rooms. One last thing! Posts & reviews can ruin small family businesses who work hard to improve & succeed Carmina, Ozzy, family, Staff & Romeo who was really good please keep up the good work

Arrived home today from our stay at Carmina with our family, 7 of us in total, 4 adults 3 children. Our first time staying but our parents stay year after year. The hotel is being renovated room by room when our of season and we were lucky enough to be given a renovated room By Ozzy & his family. We were reluctant and worried after reading the bashing this place gets online, but we were overjoyed to arrive to modern bedrooms, luxurious marble style bathrooms and a spacious room with mountain views. The hotel is a small local family run business with said family living on site. The staff literally cannot do enough for you. Romeo was an absolute legend who waited on us hand and foot and wouldn't let us lift a finger - we really hope he will be at the hotel next year!!! We eat at the carmina twice at lunchtime and once for an evening meal, all of which were outstanding. It's also perfect location just a few steps from the strip, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The pool has also recently been re tiled and renovated to have no deep end which we welcomed as parents of three children. We also had a Turkish bath each, £10 for an hour of massage and scrubbing which was idealic! Obviously the carmina isn't a listed as a 5 star hotel but for the star rating and price, it's an absolute steal and feels authentically Turkish! We will no doubt be back next year for another 2 weeks of fun in the sun ❤️
