Just back from our 7th visit! As normal everything was amazing, from management and all the staff work so hard and go above and beyond to please. Always cleaning to insure everything is spotless! So thanks again grand azur, as you already know.... we will be BACK ❤️

“Lovely Hotel!”

We were a family of four adults staying for 2 weeks in June. This was our third visit to the hotel. What we liked:- - You can't reserve sunbeds! This is the only hotel we have ever been to that enforces this, which is one of the reasons we keep returning here. We think having to stay with your sunbeds until 9am is the right policy - No smoking by the pool. Designated smoking areas at the bar/Green & Grill - The staff/service. Everyone works really hard and aims to make your stay as enjoyable as possible - The hotel/grounds. Small, clean, well maintained - Entertainment. Enough day time activities to keep you occupied (if you want to take part) and the evening entertainment was very good. My son enjoyed the (new) DJ Turntable class and we all enjoyed the (new) olive oil tasting - The Green & Grill being open on an evening now. This is a nice addition to the bar and beach bar and gives you more choice - Buffet Restaurant. Lovely food, great selection to choose from. We like that there are screens at the hot food counters as this stops guests handling the serving utensils which we find more hygienic - A La Carte restaurant. Lovely food, amazing view, great experience - Check in via the app prior to arrival - Sharon (Manager) and the TUI staff being visible and engaging with guests - Jetty Day Beds. Lovely, relaxing experience and value for money - Patisserie. Lovely cakes - Grab & Go for a quick bite to eat The only issue we experienced (for a few days) was trying to get four pool towels from the towel station, but after reporting this to Lesley this was resolved and we didn't have another issue. The one thing I would like to see improved is security on the jetty. The day we used the day beds there were people on the jetty that weren't staying at the hotel and no security in sight to remove them! There is no longer a sign above the jetty entrance saying 'TUI Blue Grand Azur' which may be a contributing factor. In future, it would be lovely to see the seating area outside the A La Carte restaurant converted into a bar area (for adults only) as the views from the roof are amazing and personally, I think it is such a wasted space as it currently is. Whilst we were there we saw many returning guests and this is testament to the great service, staff and facilities of the Hotel. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

“Wonderful hotel made even better by great people.”

We came with family for our first holiday with our 10 month old son. Whilst we were naturally nervous, being first time parents, coming on holiday, the hotel and staff were amazing. They literally went above and beyond to help us as a family, take great interest in our baby and make us feel valued as a guest. Ruth was absolutely incredible. She spoke with the Head Chef and asked him to prepare suitable baby meals fresh every night. This was so kind and really appreciated as it look a lot of stress away. We found that unlike the UK, you can’t readily buy baby food pouches in Turkey and the selection is very limited. A great big thank you again to Ruth. Lesley was also super lovely and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she only had to meet you once to remember your name. We paid extra for a sea view room and we also pre-booked our rooms for the holiday. We received an email shortly before we came on holiday to say that unfortunately our selected Room was no longer available but that they would allocate another room taking into account our request. When we arrived, we were allocated room 440. Whilst it is described as a full sea view room, the view is limited by the restaurant building which comes out and blocks a lot of the view. We spoke to Anne who was brilliant and she arranged for our room to be changed to 446. The view from this room was stunning. Family that joined us stayed in room 449 and they had a panoramic view of the sea. Thank you again to Anne. The service in the hotel was brilliant. We have been before to the hotel and it has never let us down. Yusuf in the restaurant was our waiter for the holiday. He was so polite and worked exceptionally hard. He was also super interactive with our baby which we really appreciated. The Spa and Turkish bath at this place is another level. By far the best in Marmaris. Great value packages on offer too from the rep by the pool. We had a Turkish bath, sauna, full body massage and face mask for about £75 each which was 90 mins of heaven! The entertainment was varied and of high quality. This hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is incredible. Sharon and her team work relentlessly hard and it is a pleasure to recommend this hotel/team.
