We Arrived here on the 19th September greeted with a drink very quick check in cases taken to the room by the porter. We were in room 230 room was spotless with large cosy bed telly with English channels good if you like to have the telly on. Small fridge filled with water and juice. Good sized bathroom with powerful shower hairdryer in bathroom. Room cleaned everyday to high standard and fresh towels everyday . Our maid always happy and smiling. Restaurant big with lots of amazing food on offer you will not be stuck for choice food so so good and very tasty. Cakes are delicious expect to put on a few pounds 😁. We used the restaurant for breakfast and evening meals during the day we ate at the green grill bar food was made to order this was so good as well. Our waiter always remembered our drinks and once empty another drink was brought over. Cant remembered the guys name he always chatted away to us always service with a smile. There is a cake and cafe bar more cakes to die for lol. Also grab and go with fresh sandwiches fruit pastries lots of different flavoured teas coffee and hot chocolate grab and go 24 hours so ideal if you arrive on an evening flight. Large Swimming pool with a lazy River so good to relax going round on a rubber ring 😁 lots of sunbeds around the pool. Large spotless grounds with loads of sunbeds as well. Perfect for relaxing. We spent every day at the beach and loved the beach bar offering tea coffee juice and alcoholic drinks the boy and girl always greeted you chatted to the girl and she taught me to say a few things in Turkish. Drank a lot of cappuccino and ice cold shady every day relaxing on the beach. The spa is so good and would recommend I had a 30 minute back massage as I have suffer with sciatica afterwards I used the salt room. There is also a sauna and indoor swimming pool. Entertainment started at 9-30pm we would relax at the Entertainment area after dinner having a few drinks before Entertainment started lots of very good shows. Lavante restaurant was superb the food was amazing with beautiful presentation we sat outside with beautiful view of the sea. Definitely book this restaurant on arrival it's a must. All areas of this hotel are spotless with cleaners constantly cleaning the smell inside the hotel so good especially the corridors they have wee boxes on the floor all along the corridor with a wee mist coming out smells like you in a spa such a nice touch. We booked for 2 weeks but Unfortunately we had to come home one week early due to my back going I was in so much pain and could hardly walk I was absolutely gutted I had to leave this beautiful hotel. Looking to book this hotel again next week for next September. If your looking for a really good hotel with delicious food nice drinks lovely staff and everywhere in hotel is spotless the grand azur is perfect. See you next September grand azur Angela &Ricky x

My second visit to the hotel. Came first time with my late mum last year which she thoroughly enjoyed. Had an amazing stay and packed in so much activities. Entertainment awesome and food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. One of my friends and I had the full body treatment which was brilliant value at £50 for the 80 minutes. We even tried out the jacuzzi which was so relaxing. Still trying to decide about coming back next year. But yeah will definitely be back. Was nice catching up with a lot of the staff that were there last year, including yourself Sharon and of course the lovely Ruth. Also Lesley the tui rep was brilliant always there to assist with things. Thank you Grand azur.

Having previously stayed at Marmaris Bay Hotel we were extremely keen to try the Grand Azur. The Grand Azur is a special place!! It was totally evident that all of the staff were working tirelessly and with such pride to give the guests such a fabulous experience. Thank you again to everyone who made our holiday just perfect and so memorable, we would not change anything. We would also like to thank and acknowledge outstanding personal and attentive service from waiters Bayram, Imam, Memmet and Aydan. What incredible staff! Evening entertainment was really well organised being professional and everyone engaged brilliantly with the audience, it was the best we have seen recently at any hotel. In the restaurant, the quality and choice of the food was absolutely fabulous. A delightful place we enjoyed lunch was the grill and bar, again ticking every box for us. Food chosen from a menu and again served by delightful waiters. Another memorable stand out was the fabulous meal with our family in the Lavante restaurant. What a setting, fabulous ambience great food……oh, and that view with the amazing table on the balcony, simply stunning and an indelible memory! Another huge THANK YOU to everyone at the Grand Azur, we will definitely be returning and cannot recommend this hotel enough!

I am writing this review because I feel that the Tui Grand Azur deserves a fair/honest review. Overall I thought our stay was ok, somewhere in between good and bad. I'll start with what was good. Firstly the bar staff were quality, good service and super polite. The buffet (as far as buffets go) was decent. The complex itself was fairly impressive, especially compared to the hotels surrounding, I was fairly impressed with the beach, nice little private bar and places to relax. Now, in terms of negatives I think the reception staff (one in particular) needs to up skill in customer service, our room was facing a fairly busy road (as are all standard rooms), which kept waking us up during the night, after the first night I politely asked if we could move rooms, the receptionist (a middle aged female) first response was: well unfortunately, all of the rooms along the front of the building face the road, so I should consider moving hotels, I laughed it off at the time and pointed out that the hotel was clearly at less than max capacity and there was rooms facing the other side of the hotel, which I was advised was 30 euros more per night - I wasn't giving more money to someone so rude, so I passed. Other let downs that I would highlight to anyone reading, the rooms aren't as clean as I assumed for a TUI Blue, the curtains in our rooms smelt of smoke and were very dusty. The swimming pool is absolutely baltic (which served as a funny game, to watch new comers reactions to jumping in the pool), FYI although the swimming pool indoors is 'heated', it's still far too cold. The entertainment is mid, on the Saturday, they had a group performance which was class, apart from that, I thought it was quite boring. Lastly, and maybe I should have looked at this before I booked the trip, the alcoholic drinks on the all inclusive aren't branded (including whats in the cocktails), we was charged circa 9 euro for every Smirnoff Vodka etc that we had. This was the first time the hotel was open in November, and to be fair we landed on good times, weather was decent (apart from one day), 20-23 degrees most days. If you're considering going at a similar time, take a jumper for the evenings.
