Recently returned from our 17th visit to the Aqua Hotel since 1993. I think that says how good the hotel is, it just gets better every visit. The all inclusive food and drink options are incredible in the dinning room and all day long just a few yards from from your sunbed. We even had bottles of ice cold water delivered each day to our sunbed. The person who keeps things running smoothly on the catering side is the Restaurant Manager - Ahmet. He operates by example working alongside the rest of the catering staff, covering every part of the waiter's job and still finds time to talk to customers. A good example of management with respect both ways. Another key member of staff is George who has been there as long as we have been coming, and although he is the Lifeguard for the swimming pool, he is so much more important than just that. He keeps the pool area tidy from morning till night. Seeking out every cup every bottle (Plastic of course) as well as every bit of rubbish. He still finds time to answer the holidaymakers questions and queries. Nobody could be more dedicated than George. Perhaps just to add to the Aqua appeal is the amazing scenic position the hotel is in looking out to a fiord type bay and surrounded by palm trees and mountains. If I really struggled to find a criticism, just one, that would be the young entertainments team that put a lot of energy into providing games in and around the pool, also think that the louder you play the music the better it is. That may be the opinion at 20 but perhaps to remember there are quite a number of pensioners sat around the pool who may think differently. I should point out there are plenty of quiet times too. Well what can we say? If we could give this hotel 7 stars we would. It was our first stay in Turkey and were so impressed with everthing about it. The location of the hotel was fabulous having its own private beach with waiters providing bottles of water periodically. Very welcome in the high temperatures. Our suite was spacious and kept spotless with a great view of pool and sea on the 5th floor. Mini-bar was free and kept topped up which is a bonus. The food was plentiful with lots of choice and dining-room large.We ate at the Mediterranean restaurant on one evening which was a change and lovely food. No reservation fee for one evening at a A La Carte restaurant but felt the reservation fee for a second evening was a bit steep so didn't do that. We sat outside mainly and enjoyed the view. My friend and I visited the spa for the free Turkish bath and are so glad we did! What a lovely, relaxing experience provided by the 2 young girls. Highly recommended. The entertainment provided was brilliant, varied and all the acts were fantastic. Also the entertainment team themselves worked hard to ensure everyone was happy. We took a water taxi to Marmaris which was cheap and well worth the boat trip and visit. Lastly, the staff, how absolutely FANTASTIC. Can't praise them enough Isaac and Fatih to name a couple. All of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful, polite, and happy to give excellent service. Never experienced sevice like it before so WELL DONE to you all. You all made our holiday.

“Fantastic stay just the best”

Been back now just over a week and what a transformation from our stay in June 2023. On arrival new furniture and a new look to the main entrance with better lay out at the reception desk. The improvements make the hotel very warm and welcoming it’s made it such a calming experience. Last year we where so disappointed with the food lack of choice and the fact that after a certain time food was not been replenished, well I am so please as the restaurant has had a big refurbishment with new furniture and crockery and the food was so well laid out and the choice was so much better and always hot with the bbq still outside each evening. We stayed for two weeks the staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble, and so clean staff always cleaning. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding changed every few days the cleaning ladies so lovely nothing to much trouble. We had room 353 it was supposed to be a room with a side sea view which it would have been if we didn’t have a palm tree to block the views a bit disappointing, as the previous year our view was excellent. The animation team work so hard to get you involved in activities but not pushy they are a credit to this hotel,the entertainment was very good although didn’t watch many shows as the mosquitos we’re having a feast on us so stayed in the bar area inside. The beach at this hotel is the best so clean with plenty of sunbeds and showers to rinse the salt water off before sunbathing staff bring water round with a mobile drinks cart in the morning and then again in the afternoon, but drinks are readily available just a short walk to the beach bar to take back to your sun lounger. This hotel is addictive once you have been you want to go back again and again we are looking at 2025 but the prices have gone through the roof so fingers crossed we can get a bit of a deal as this hotel is central to everything in Icmeler and icmeler is a different holiday to staying in Marmaris as Icmeler is so laid back. I can not recommend this hotel enough and hopefully will be back in 2025 well done the Hotel Aqua the changes you have made to the hotel have made it so much more welcoming and the staff are amazing hope to see you June 2025

She is very rude and arrogant They treat their own people differently I speak turkish and she thought I was local guest She was treating me as a local The English rule in the hotel is different Make sure you don’t speak Turkish with management or booking or reservations! Always ask for English directions
