We, a family of 2 adults (Mum and Grandma!) and 2 children, had a really lovely week here. I paid for a family room and we were given one of the 'bungalow' rooms down the hill and near the children's pool with a gorgeous sea view through the pine trees. We arrived in the afternoon and were brought down with our bags in a golf buggy. We had two rooms, one with two single beds and another room with a double bed and two single sofa beds so plenty of room for the 4 of us and the beds were really comfortable. The shower was good, plenty of hot water and good pressure, nothing very exciting in the mini bar (a beer, a Pepsi and some water) and only refilled with water, but that was no issue as we just got drinks from the bars. The buffet food was not the most amazing (average all inclusive and I've had much better), but there was always plenty to choose from. I liked the nice freshly cooked omelettes for breakfast or some lovely Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts and fruit in particular! Baklava selection of an evening was also great but now need a serious diet!! We tried the Turkish A la Carte which was really good, lots of food and good service. The Snack bar for lunch near the beach or Kiyi instead of the buffet were also good (Kiyi better than snack bar). We also loved the coffee shop and milkshakes from the vw bubble tea van and daily trip for an ice cream!! Drinks-wise these were OK, I liked a cold beer with lunch or on the beach and we tried most of the cocktails...Long Island ice tea being a favourite. Juice selections were random from the machines but better if carton availble and children liked ice tea from the bars. I wasn't a fan of all the plastic waste, cups, straws etc so think they could be more eco conscious, but I'd taken reusable metal cups and the bar staff were happy to refill these for me with any requested drinks. The pools were pretty cold but fine once you were in, kids loved the water slide and the sea was warm. We were so lucky with the weather being 25-28 deg C and sunny every day. There is no real beach here which is a shame, just a tiny patch which was always very crowded but I didn't mind climbing down the steps to swim. The sea was clean and clear and quite a few fish when snorkelling. Had a nice walk to Icemeler along the flat promenade one day, took about 25 mins and also got a bus (Dolmus) to Marmaris from right outside the hotel and another trip to Turtle beach a nd mud baths another day which was great value. Overall we had a really great, relaxing baklava and cocktail filled week (weather definitely helped!)! The staff were friendly and hardworking, the hotel and roo.s were kept really clean and the location was good - I loved how things seemed to have been built around the pine forest rather than removing any trees. Yes some bits a bit tired in places and the food wasn't top restaurant quality but for an AI it was decent enough. Just a note that if you have limited mobility beware there are some uneven paths and quite a lot of steps around but not a problem if taking it steady. Overall really pleased with our decision to visit here - first time in Turkey and would definitely like to return one day as the country was beautiful!

We travelled as a family with easy jet, we had a private transfer with Tuna, which was waiting on arrival, we landed at 1pm so it was well it to hurry to resort. Air con and music in the car, brill. Check in was quick, room 104 which over looked car park. We was woke up as coaches come and go early hours..it was a promo room with French balcony. The balcony had enough room for table and 2 chairs. Room was ok, plenty of storage. Shower was hard to use, and the door was hard to shut. We went on the adult jetty every day.Across the top gets the sun till 5pm (October). I would get to the gate for 7.55am (gate locked till 8) and get your own sunbed. You can tip and have it saved, but I found they ll cram other tippers in too. Food was ok, Italian by adult jetty on a lunch time was a god send. The buffet on an evening food was Luke warm, but the meat was fine with a salad or bread. Ask for branded spirits otherwise you get local. Icemeler is a nice flat walk to the right and marmaris to the left. Was only there a week so no trips. I would defo go back to icemeler but stay nearer to town

Overall this property is lovely, it has some wear and tear but the rustic architecture and furnishings is lovely along with great views added bonus of a Jetty also has a beach, lots of bars, eating areas. Outdoor and indoor sitting areas, staff are welcoming, helpful, food choices are great, and high quality. With more tweets could be better. We a family of 3 visited during October half term we are regulars to Turkey inclusive hotels, 2nd visit in Marmaris so aware of standards. We arrived at 1.30 am the queues were so long to check in only 2 people at Check in, it took 50 minutes to check in not a good start! There was soup in the night which was warm. We were allocated a room in main building on the 4th floor it was opposite the kitchen exhaust and that night due to the noise we hardly got any sleep the room had a un inviting layout only 1 single wardrobe! Next day requested reception for a room change which we got around 1pm. That new room was on the 2nd floor was much better. Outside Property; spotless, big on a slope, lots of pools, 2 bars outdoor, 1 on beach, and 1 indoor gorgeous views of the sea and shaded by trees. Bedroom: spacious, a little dated, small balconies. Bathroom: very small, although do have a double Shower, they definitely need an upgrade, we had a stiff sliding door in both. Food: there is wide choice of options, and you can get burgers and fresh dough pizza from pine bar till 4pm. All the al La cartes closed for end of season on the 31st October. We managed to get a booking for an Italian and that was really nice.they also do nice lunch but did not get to try myself my family did. The main dining area is over 2 halls, however the one serving hot mains was very busy. Out of the 6 nights we had to queue for 4! The first night we queued for 20 mins! I have not experienced this previously at any AI. The food quality was of high quality wide choice. They have ice cream, and Millkshake and bubble tea and patisserie , gozlame,till 4pm. The coffee machine drinks however were really poor! Thank goodness for the coffee shops where they serve real coffee, lattes and flat white, herbal teas all day and evening. the girls working here are all lovely too. Dining staff: not enough staff most of our stay, had to get your own drinks apart from 2 occasions. However if you ask them they will get it for you. Cutlery was always missing had to ask for it. Cleaners: great ladies did a good job each day of cleaning the room. Toiletries: they have 2 dispensers with liquid and 1 for 1 shower gel and shampoo. Bar staff: we spent more time at Pine Bar the staff are all friendly make you feel very welcome. Entertainment/ show: There was 2 shows during our holiday. The Ethiopian dancers werejust amazing and the best I have seen at any AI. The floss dance group was also okay. Other nights it was karaoke, DJ, or music whilst we’re there it was Turkish Republic day but was not celebrated and Halloween was a low key event. Other AI really do host spectacular events. This was disappointing. Day entertainment was minimal but most were happy around by the ppl or on the jetty. Now the sea is a plus point this is the 1st time I swam in the sea which was shallow, there are lots of seating area by the sea front. Spa: great quality free facilities compared to other AI. I had a Turkish bath not the best but the massage was relaxing. We played tennis which was free most AI you have pay extra. Overall we did enjoy ourselves, we used most facilities and even did a walk to Iclemer, you can hire a bike for £3.00 per hour, lovey sea views and great safe promenade to walk day and night. Cameras and security guards dotted about. We would return but not in October as we felt quite a few facilities were not available half way through our holiday. Staff were amazing and go that extra effort to make your holiday special. Thank you for a relaxing week. .

Room close to amenities if trouble with walking etc. Lovely complex, gorgeous scenery, food is what you expect from an all Inclusive, changed everyday and was ok. Snack bar great and milkshake van Pools were freezing but sea gorgeous, man who looks after jetty will sort you out with beds everyday. Entertainment was good, dont believe all the negatives about this Icemelar is about a 20min walk away, marmaris 40. Get the bus, dead cheap 30l. They accept pounds/euros and lira in the shops. I would return to the hotel at this time of year think it would be too busy in summer. The staff were fine, people need to take into account they have worked a long summer.

Good points Beautiful setting Nice rooms in apartments in grounds Coffee shop - amazing Staff on beach - very friendly and helpful Jetty great for swimming and sun bathing Negatives Food is terrible as per previous reviews nothing hot, quite sure alot was reheated. The elsuive cutlery lucky if you can find it. Coffee machine and fruit juice machine was a lottery on what you got. Sickness after two of the meals. Staff not helpful or friendly. It’s the most unwelcome hotel we have been too apart from staff on beach. Alcohol was something else - I like beer and cocktails but only drank coffee from the coffee shop as the bar drinks were like drinking turps. Entertainment made us laugh only because it was sooo bad. Only time I’ve seen R2D2 robot, break dancers, jungle dancing and climbing chairs all in one show! All staff on phones all the time including when they are serving you, on loud speakers chatting, just make your drink no eye contact or chat as too busy talking on phone. Same in restaurant chefs stood outside door on phones. Seems there’s no one in charge. All staff seem to be under 20 and really couldn’t care less about the holiday makers. Cleaners very pleasant but I had to dust my own apartment as so dusty. I’m not a snob but my kids were doing pictures on the phones and sides because they found it funny. Be careful of the many sprinklers that will soak you, one hosepipe broke loose and I was soaked - I just laughed it off but the fact the staff didn’t even bother to ask if I was ok was bad. If you have mobility issues don’t come here, beatiful hotel lots of trees very pretty but it is on a slope. The hotel cats are gorgeous and not too many. They are well cared for. Good to know: If coming to Turkey they only want Euros and cash. The orange buses public transport are cheap and good. We had a good holiday and the jet2 staff were great as where the trips but would not return to this hotel. Also please note the Dalaman airport is VERY expensive - we had planned to eat at airport around 9pm as didn’t want to eat at hotel, they wanted £100 for McDonald’s for family of 5! So we waited until on the plan to eat.
