Club Atrium Marmaris

“Great place for all”

Absolutely love this place. Brilliant for families. Great entertainment and the staff are amazing 💯. Good food and plenty to do for the little ones to keep them busy and having fun. This year I took my kids and my niece and nephew and they had the best experience . Highly recommend.

“Hotel”

The food is good, the drinks are overpriced. Music is a little loud, had issues with aircon leaking one night all night, got fixed as soon as we told them the next day. The food is good, the drinks are overpriced. Music is a little loud, had issues with aircon leaking one night all night, got fixed as soon as we told them the next day. I’m a younger female 21, some of the men don’t leave you alone at this hotel( I think it’s like this in Turkey everywhere) always asking for your socials and trying to flirt which is very cringey especially if you’re with your family (it is a family hotel!) However most of the staff are lovely and are very welcoming and nice (not flirty) Lots of sunbeds, good entertainment for children.

Just come back after a 10 night stay with my wife for our belated honeymoon. We booked to go in June as we knew the weather would be good, we just ended up being there during a heatwave with temperatures hitting the 50c mark. Overall we both enjoyed our visit to Marmaris and would definitely go back, the only negative I have about Marmaris itself is the fact you can't just walk past a shop without being pestered to go inside, even the bars pester you to go in for something to eat, even when you tell them that you are staying half board so eat at the hotel. I know they are just doing their jobs, but it gets too much and actually puts you off, surely they must think we don't have our own minds and go in a bar or shop on our own accord!! So to the hotel, upon arrival the hotel looks great with the Turkish flags flying about. Club Atrium is situated on what seems to be its own street. The check in process was swift as we were the only ones at the hotel on the transfer. Having told our travel company that it was our honeymoon and we would like a room on a high floor overlooking the pool and even emailing this request direct to the hotel I was expecting my request to be dealt with. What I didn't know is that the hotel has two buildings, a new part and an old part. We were placed in room 105 which is in the old part and on the 1st floor and overlooking the bushes round the back of the hotel. I asked at the reception if we could move and that I had sent an email request, the reception wasn't helpful and claimed they never received the email even though I showed them the reply. We decided to stay in the room for the duration as it seemed to be quiet despite the view. We stayed in a one bed apartment which needs some major upgrading, which I can guess would be the same for the rest of the building we was in. Even though we stayed half board the room consisted of a fridge, kettle, a worktop hob and all other utensils. The living area had a small table & chairs, 2 sofas which could be used as either 2 single beds or to create a double bed. In the bed room there was 2 single beds, a double wardrobe and a small bedside table. The bathroom was a typical bathroom, except for it had a corner shower unit instead of a bath with a shower. The shower unit was small and the water gushed out instead of coming out of the small holes in the head. The hotel had 2 decent sized swimming pools with smaller kids pools at the end of each. Sunbeds were plentiful and we never had an issue getting 2 sunbeds together. Whilst there is a huge sign up saying not to reserve sunbeds and towels will be removed, we noticed sunbeds that had been reserved and no towels were being removed. You didn't have to leave the sunbeds if you wanted anything to eat or drink as they have a waiter service, you could obviously make use of the dining area if you wanted to eat in the shade. The DJ played the same music everyday, whilst the music consisted of some great songs it did get a bit too samey!! Getting on to the food now ... Unlike most hotels where the dining area is actually in the hotel, here you have a choice of 2 restaurants, a Chinese all you can eat style buffet which we used twice, whilst it makes a change from the usual kind of food you expect at a hotel, there was a small but good selection to choose from and all the food is served fresh. The main restaurant, Havana, is also were breakfast is served. I will start with reviewing the breakfast. Whilst it is buffet style, please don't expect the usual bacon, sausage, etc. or a wide selection of cereal as you will be disappointed. If you want a cooked breakfast you will have to pay for it. However, if you like egg then you will be fine. There is a choice of 2 types of cereal although I'm not actually sure what they are, just that 1 is Chocolate!! There are 2 types of bread and a toasting machine. Then you have boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, some sausages in some kind of sauce along with the usual selection of cheese, tomatoes, olives, cucumber and watermelon. In the evening, if you are staying half board as we were you order your food from the half board menu which consists of pizza, steak, spaghetti bolognaise but to name a few options. Whilst at first this seems like a weird set up but does kind of make sense as your food is cooked fresh in the kitchen which you can actually see. They also have another menu if you are staying bed & breakfast or self catering, They also accept people who walk in off the street so if you are over with friends or are at another hotel you can dine together. It would be good if the hotel offered an all inclusive option as it can get expensive buying drinks when around the pool all day as they don't like you bringing in drinks from outside, even if it is from the shop at the hotel. Speaking of the shop, it is called Morrisons and is the best little shop around. The owners are the friendliest and most helpful people ever. They are cheaper than all the other little shops around and also offer a better exchange rate. The hotel offers a spa and Turkish massage and the 2 ladies are amazing and is a great way to start the holiday. The staff work hard and in general are friendly. Whilst we would come back to Marmaris again we don't think we would return to this hotel which is a shame as it is a good hotel and has so much potential especially if they upgrade the older block of rooms.

Fantastic staff always kept us entertained & always on hand if needed anything. Great park/soft play around the pool and the Havana restaurant area. Downsides would be that in the self catering rooms the floors weren’t swept or cleaned for the duration of our stay. The beds were made daily and fresh towels given on the beds however the sheets were not changed during our stay, the sofa beds were rock solid & not comfortable for an adult. We were provided with one pillow each, I did ask at reception for extra pillows that were given after asking for the second time. Loud music from the bars over the road we’re going until midnight which is a given. Can’t fault any of the staff or the entertainment team at all.
