We booked this holiday through Hays Travel as a last minute booking. We returned home and looked at the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were quite worried about what we had booked! We arrived at the hotel around 11.30pm and we were worried there was a problem as the lady behind the desk looked confused and kept looking at our booking details and back at the computer but 10 mins later a lovely man was showing us to our room. The beds were a little hard but I have slept on worse! The room was very clean and the Air Con was a god send! There is a TV in the room, we only found 3 English channels but who goes on holiday to watch TV. We headed down for breakfast which is served between 8-10am. There wasn’t much that I liked to eat but it does say Turkish Breakfast so can’t complain they do have bread and a toaster, there is 3 types of cereal and there is a lovely lady who cooks fresh omelettes, pancakes and fried eggs outside. We stayed around the pool at the front of the hotel and it was lovely and quiet! There was no music or entertainment on while we were there but this was perfect for us because we just wanted to relax around a pool. Dalyan itself is a lovely little town which you can have a walk around without pressure from people trying to get you to go into their shops/restaurants/cafes etc. We were quite anxious about this trip after reading the reviews but we really didn’t need to be! The Hotel is very clean the staff are always cleaning something and they were all polite and smiling. The flooring around the pool at the front is a bit broken in places but if you are careful when you walk this is not an issue. We would 100% return to this hotel in the future. I would advise people travelling to Dalyan to take plenty of Mosquito spray and maybe some Anti-histamines because the Mosquitoes have had a good old chomp on us while we were out in the town!

This was our second visit to the Binlik but our 4th to Dalyan. This time we stayed in B Block with our room facing the newly refurbished reception area and pool at the front of the hotel. This room was nice and modern, air con was great and bathroom ok. The main issue we had with this room was that the WiFi here was awful! The WiFi only seemed to work well by the pool with the bar. Talking of the bar, drinks prices were ok but found the food over priced, we had one lunch and maybe 6 drinks during our 10 day stay and this came to 1330 TL (£30). Breakfast was ok but the coffee was undrinkable and the cups are tiny for tea. You could usually find something and could order omelettes, pancakes and eggs. Everyone we met at the hotel was lovely and friendly, which made our trip that bit more special and we were spoilt for choice for meals and drinks being so close to the main strip. You must try the Waterfall Bar next door, their chip butties and Spag bol are to die for and Reg is a great host. Other favourites include Efe bar, Retro bar and Wonky, and we discovered some new ones, Why Not and Temsi which were amazing. But honestly you would be unlucky to get a bad meal in Dalyan. I would definitely recommend the Binlik as a good solid base for your Dalyan holiday, yes some parts look a bit tired (smaller pool and breakfast offering) but the location more than makes up for it.

A lot of variety for breakfast although it does sit in a warm room all morning! I will definitely be visiting again, great location and definitely worth the money I paid! Negative and the reason I have given a lower score. The pools were not cleaned the entire week I was there. By the end of the week I didn’t want to go in, it was all greasy on top from people’s sun creams, full of dead bugs and leaves, very un-hygienic as it should be getting cleaned daily! If it wasn’t for this I’d have given a 5 review, but the dirty swimming pools really ruined that aspect for me!
