Starting with the positives. Room clean and stocked with branded soft drinks and bottled water. Every morning the domestic lady allocated to my arrived arrived around 8:00am, she was lovely. She would freshen my room, restock my leave me clean towels. If it wasn't for the amazing BRITS, who were so friendly that I met at the hotel. A brother and sister from Redditch, two lovely ladies from Newcastle, friends from Derbyshire, mother and daughter from Oxfordshire, and many more. I probably would have cancelled my hoilday and returned home sooner. I also have to give credit to the animation Manager, sorry ive forgotten his name. Great guy and his team Nutella from Tunisia, Sophia from Morocco and Lucian from Morecambe. For providing daily entertainment at the pool side and night shows. Well done loved the puppet show. Thank you to the Spa ladies, sorry ive forgotten their names. One lady was from Nigeria and the other from Bali. They looked after me so well and i treated myself to two wonderful relaxing turkish baths, reasonably priced. My negative experiences are as follows:- Although I read that the hotel didn't have a lift. I was expecting to have so many steps. It was approximately 90 steps from the poolside up to my room. All the steps are varied in size and uneven. Some areas poorly light, almost pitch black. I have arthritis and tripped a couple of times the first time, was when I was startled by a 🐈. I dropped and broke my eye glasses in an attempt, not to hit my legs on the concrete steps. Luckily I took a spare pair of eyeglasses. I didnt see any RATS or VERMIN, maybe because there are lots of cats everywhere in the dinning room. Most well behaved expect a black cat that would climb on the tables after food. Which put me off and other hoilday makers would be seen shewing them away. When I arrived it approximately 9:30 pm, I was accompanied by a lovely brother and sister family from Redditch. We were all very hungry and tired. At the reception check in staff were abrupt and rude. Handed me a piece of paperwork and requested a signature. No welcome, thank you for choosing our hotel. The usual meet and greet that is expected. They was only ONE restaurant. Food disgusting. cold, bland, tasteless, repetitive and they would reuse had something else and present it as a different option. eg We had meatballs in sauce for lunch, then at dinner meatballs with peppers on some kind of dough. Every thing was cold didn't matter if you arrived at 7:30 when the restaurant opened. The night we arrived the only option for food, was cold soup and no bread. One morning, I was told by another guest that he had asked for some butter. To be told that there was no butter. Apparently the English guests had used all the butter. He apparently told them it wasn't good enough. We also witnessed conflict and arguing amongst the staff. One particular restaurant staff member, would secure special tables for some guests. I think the guests might have been German. I witnessed a British women who sat at a table asked to move, when her husband went to get drinks. He was not impressed. All the staff are rude, abrupt and unfriendly. A couple people in the restaurant area smiled otherwise it was crazy. Most of food is not labelled, there's a QR code that was placed in the restaurant days after. Supposedly for us to long on to find out what the food options were. Avoid if you have any nut allergys. I dislike nuts but not allergic. So I choose what appeared to be chocolate type 🎂, which to my surprise contain nuts. Which I couldn't eat. The hotel lobby area chairs are covered in dirt and grime. Some of the swvvel chairs in the inside bar are broken. So depending on which one you sit on you will off. There is a snack area open 13:00-18:00 with limited options. The first time I ate there. I ordered spaghetti bolognase, it was okay and views amazing. So the next day I went back with other guests and ordered spaghetti bolognase, It arrived cold and tasteless. Which we reported to the staff. To be told some people order and like cold spaghetti. One of the guests who I sat with ordered some pasta in a white sauce, which was also cold. Limited drinks at the bar and poor quality 🍸. Most of the staff were also rude. They advise snacks, ice cream cakes. But considering there was a lot of families with children. The only ice cream available for all-inclusive families. Was what they had to purchase from a very overpriced shop. Two people encountered injures. One of the ladies fell onpoorly lit steps. She suffered facial injuries, black eye and scratches, bruising to knees and her left wrist. She contacted JET2 and to my understanding will be taking matters further. The other guest asked me to review an injury on his arm. Apparently on their arrival, he had requested a slip mat. To be told that tge hotel dies not provide slip mats for a slip hazard area. Unfortunately he fell stepping out of a bath/shower and occurred a painful swelling and bruising to his upper arm. We than we told that other people in similar rooms had also slipped. I have recently returned home and felt it necessary to input my feedback experience. AVOID THIS HOTEL

Hotel: Pleasant grounds to walk around and there is the main restaurant, beach bar and a pool bar. There is a gym with minimal equipment in, which does require some care and attention too, as this could potentially become a safety concern. Pools and surrounding areas where clean and tidy. There is a small beach area and a pier with ample of sun loungers. They are not short of space to worship the sun. I would not suggest this is suitable for individuals with mobility issues/disabled as there are a lot of stairs. Be mindful if you are travelling late to eat before arrival, as there is nothing to eat on arrival. There was supper which hotel guests had already eaten and there was nothing set aside for late travellers. Plenty of areas throughout the hotel to use the WIFI. Rooms are average and simple, with a poor air con system. Cleaners are attentive and welcoming in a morning, ensured there is plenty of bottled water in your room and the room was tidy, not easy with 3 girls. Dresses and shoes everywhere! All inclusive drinks were average and a set menu. If you wanted a proper cocktail it was at a charge or you rent a cabana for approx 25-30 euros per person for the day. The cabana has a waiter who serves you during your renting period. Staff: The entertainment staff were fun and enjoyed their jobs, As we are all aware it is difficult to get tourists involved in the pool activities but they didn't give up and where always encouraging and upbeat. The waiters/waitresses work extremely hard during their shifts and are polite. If you play bingo it is 8 euro for the bingo card per person. The entertainment staff are improving their entertainment and are keen to hear new ideas, so give them a chance. Food: Plain and simple. The food was luke warm and containers were left open. There was not much choice. The food looked appetising but it lacked flavour. I did not see much options for children, but this could of been easily overlooked, as I did not travel with any children. Local area: Nothing to do locally. The hotel does provide a bus to Turgutreis and Bodrum Town Centre at an extra charge of 10 euros per person. Turgutreis is about an hour walk from the hotel along the sea front. It doesn't appear much but nothing beats a sea walk. There is not much to do in these areas unless you just want to shop. Bodrum castle is on the marina, but we did not have chance to explore. Unfortunately, I can't say this was a cheap cheerful holiday but it was reasonable. Recommendations to consider: * Late night travellers may be hungry and to provide a small meal after check in. * Small toiletries * Are the extra charges throughout the hotel necessary? * Ask guests if they are able to carry their bags up the multitude of stairs and don't presume because they are young, they can.
